See your future. Be your future. Yeah I've had many relationships that didn't work out. But I didn't have to marry them, have kids, go through marriage counseling, eventual divorce, child support, alimony, and therapy afterwards to figure it all out. Geez! What a complete waste of time and money. I can pick and choose my plastic fairytale adventures that won't last. I don't have to live in one. Where is the practicality? And common sense? And being cautious and careful? Oh that's right! It all goes out the window when you're in love.

would you feel that they (male or female) are unfit for relationships? or what? share your thoughts. type freely.

At twenty, I may have thought that, then I watched all my friends get divorced, (myself included) and I think it's just a case of people getting married for the wrong reasons. I don't think divorce is a bad thing, I do however think that if they trash talk their ex.... I'll never date them, shows too many unresolved issues within themselves.

And I mean no offense. I'm sick of hearing the horror stories of marriage and divorce. Sick of 20 years of divorced men and women coming over to my house, drinkin my booze, cryin on my shoulder, and sleeping on my couch. These were the same people when happily married, told me I should be married- greatest thing that's ever happened to them- don't know what I'm missing! Yeah I know what I'm missing- impending doom and gloom.

Hey biker,

If you loved her and that was the one thing she wanted, would you?
uh, well I told that russian internet scammer that emailed me a marriage proposal but never looked at my profile last night NO! Gee does that answer your question about common sense? But she really most likely loved me. And she was sincere in her desires of really really wanting to marry me.

What I'm saying is you're all scaring me even more with your divorce horror stories! Damn! I'm gonna have to go to counseling after listening to these stories. Omg! I feel like I'm in the middle of a depressing divorce anonymous meeting. And everyones wearing their divorce like a badge of courage on their chest. "Hello, my name is sharon and I'm a divorcee." EVERYONE NOW- "HI SHARON!" divorce therapy- coming to a theatre near you- oh wait- they already have it. Its that new 'Sex in the city' movie. Or was I the only one that thought I was watching a really long boring 2 hour nissan car commercial?

Steeeeeeeerike One! laugh

just kidding. everybody makes mistakes. divorce like
marriage requires two. it only means that you previously
had a marriage that didn't work out. nothing more.

the other possibilities are:

single never married,
or married.

of course if someone has been married multiple times
without ever being able to make it work...you might
start to wonder why...

Here's one for ya... We used a paralegal just to write up the papers, came to an agreement on EVERY issue amongst ourselves, still are "friends" and raise our daughter together in a united and loving way....

He irritates me sometimes as I'm sure I do him, but we actually came out of it better friends then when we still lived together, we had a very good relationship, we never cheated on each other, never did anything to put each other in jeopardy... and still to this day don't do those things to each other.

It takes TWO adutls to be in a "big boy/big girl" relationship.

I hope he finds someone, cuz he's a great person, just not one that I wanted to be married to for the rest of my life...
