I lost my job of 17 years in 1994 and six months later my husband left me. I had no job and no education and a 4 year old to support. I quickly became homeless and moved into my sister's basement two states away. I stayed there until I got my degree and now I have a house with a pool.

Ya never know.

live if you were homeless? Do you have family support to prevent you living under a bridge or in a shelter?

If my life went very wrong very quickly, my family would most certainly be there for me, but if they did not exist, I would pitch a tent somewhere than live in a shelter I think.

What are your options, what choices would you make?

WELL...I suppose I would load up the Motorhome and hit the road...and drive over to your place to hook up for electric and H2O...of course you would need to hve WiFi so that I could go online ancheck with all my friends on JSH...and to do my stock trading and banking...but other than that...whew...it would be pretty rough...
I make a point of staying where there's wireless so I can sit on the deck or patio...so no sweat hon! Got you covered.

So it's Winx, Tina, Hunky and Me in a hotel with the wireless and the motorhome outside. Cozy group we have now. happy

SEE TINA...one big happy family...

shacking up in a motel...hmmmmm

I like those odds...

OH...OH...there goes the pervert in me again...hahahahahaha

don't count on who you think your friends might be....i found that out the hard way......lots of fair-weather friends then. i have great friends now, and they have proved it since, and i've helped as many people as i could...even when i was homeless. that accounts for me being homeless for as long as i was in some instances.

>>>wolf<<<<<

I'd live off the land,
be thankful for what I had and try to help those that needed it more.....

I'd be down...NOT out.

of course the party house sounds way better:tongue:
So, what's it gonna be handsome...shack up with the clan, or out in the wild?

I was homeless for a short bit. Never(Thank the Lord) had to spend a night outdoors, but spent a few nights in a friend's car, and about a month in a shelter. While gettin my act back together, I stayed in a fleabag hotel, and then got blessed with a decent job in the small town I've lived in for the last 4 years.

I knew a couple guys that lived outdoors during the winter. 20 below, and snow all around?? I couldn't do it..

OK...it's decided then...we are all loading into the RV and heading over to your place.

Is it warm there in the Winter...cuz the RV heater is broken...
