Well funches since i dont believe in a personal god i cant say one way or the other on this as to it's imperfection's or perfection's. Nor can i consider whether or not eating or needing to eat is an imperfection.That's no more than a matter of personal opinion or belief.And has nothing to do with what we were discussing as to nakedness or intelligence or any side track issues - so i guess were through.

i think your a rational intelligent being, that has the capability of finding these answer's on your own if you are really - really seriously desiring to know what's meant there in that portion of the bible.

There are many book's that talk of this and there are "believer's" who I'm sure would also. My only reason for even replying to you to begin with is i had never heard anyone come up with the statement's you or abra had made, I have re-read it again today and i still don't see how nakedness could be seen as what you are saying or "lack of intelligence" on adam's part.so I would be of no further use to you in bringing forth anymore than i already have. I will leave it to other's to continue if they want to or especially you yourself if - as i said, this is something you really want an answer to. peace!

in a forum you should expect that some may not agree with everything you post so it's no need to get all drama queenish about it and post sermons in an attempt to vilify others about why you're no longer going to respond...simply not responding sends that message loud and clear

it appears that some wish to focus on the fact that Adam and Eve tended the Garden of Eden and that this means they had the intelligence to comprehension God's commands ..so let's put this to rest by simply asking one question ..where there other animals in the Garden of Eden that could do the same thing as Adam and tend or maintain a Garden? ..well there is the leaf cutter ant

the left cutter ant have formed their own agricultural system and would go out in force and cut leaves from trees and transport these leaves into the nest in which they used the leaves to grow a type of fungus in which the colony would feed on ..

since this fungi was the ants only food source the ants would have to maintain it and would cultivate the soil remove waste and debris and would even built the nest in such a way to aerate it in order to keep the fungi at a steady growing temperature ...

so since these ants tend their Garden do this prove that these ants were intelligent enough to comprehend God's command not to cut leaves off the Tree of Knowledge ...

in other words as Adam and Eve was tending the garden of Eden these Ants was tending their Garden of Fungi which means Adam was doing nothing more than these leaf cutter ants were capable of doing ..but yet do any one believe that those leaf cutter ants could comprehend God's commands

also another point of focus is just because Adam named all the animals that this proves Adam's level of comprehension skills ...well let's use those Leaf cutter ants again.....

since ants communicate by leaving different chemical scents or signals then with every encounter with a different animal those ants could identify or name that animal with a special chemical scent ......

but the point is that Adam naming the animals was nothing more than a Leaf cutter ant naming an animal with a chemical scent...and because the ants was capable of doing this doesn't mean that they could also comprehend God's commands ..

.... and just ripping quotations from the bible does nothing to further the cause because your version of the bible is different to someone elses.

So we still dont believe anything it says

the bible passage that would indicate that Adam and Eve had the intelligence to comprehend God's command doesn't exist in the Bible because it would contradict the story of Adam and Eve and therefore prove the entire concept that the bible is based on as a deception and that Adam and Eve already had the knowledge of good and evil and didn't obtain this knowledge from The Tree of Knowledge..

Adam and Eve and all the animals in The Garden of Eden were all on the same level each had their own language or way to communicate and none of the inhabitants knew what evil or disobedience was until Adam and Eve bit off the Tree of Knowledge and evolved into higher beings

so if Adam and Eve didn't know what evil was then how could they comprehend disobedience because to disobey God would be a sin and therefore evil and since they had no knowledge of evil then how could they comprehend God's command "not to" ..

so this only shows how God condemn the human race not for disobeying his commands but for obtaining the knowledge to question his commands ..which lead to the invention of faith ..which requires the religious believer "not to know and not to question" and to just do as you are told without question
