Ah, talk about totally misrepresentation. He is already planning a trip. They were only waiting to know for sure if he will be the democratic candidate running. For crying out loud. Don't only state half the facts. Kindly explain his neglecting his position as chairman of the oversight committee on Afghanstan? NOT ONE hearing. NOW, defend that atrocity. |

This administration and their war is a disgrace. Smearing Obama for not supporting it is weak. He supports the recent GI Bill,but "Dubya" and McSame don't. Who supports the troops? Excellent point! 
Bush and McCain use giving the troop benefits as a carrot to keep them trapped in a continuous revolving door of repeated tours and reenlistment!
I don't know when you were there (Iraq), but in 2006 when I was there and I was given the opportunity to do multiple tours, I would of reenlisted without any carrots! And then there are the brainwashed and those whose loyalty is based on the limited and narrow view given them by the military! So,,,,,, Why didnt you reenlist? They are taking anyone now including drug addicts!

It has been 871 days since Obama has been to Iraq, yet he still refuses to go back and talk to our troops, give them encouragement and do some fact finding himself. Even after Senator John McCain offered obama to go with him to visit the troops so obama could see first hand what is taking place - obama feels it is not necessary for him to go there. Wow, what a great stand to take on foreign policy, homeland security, war on terrorism. ALSO, obama, who is the chairmn of an oversight committee on Afghanistan since the beginning of 2007, to date, has NOT HAD ONE oversight hearing on this matter. What a great relationship to build with our military, and this individual wants to be the Commander in Chief? Commander in Chief of what????? Tinkerbell thinks she could do a much better job. So do I.
