I went back and read the start of this thread and I gotta say, I don't really feel the need to feel younger. I'm comfortable being 50. But I do miss having friends to hang out with and chit chat on the phone, gossip with - things like that. In all honesty I really miss having all the gal friends in my life more than I miss having a man in my life. And no, I don't play for the other team! Gal pals are important. If you don't have any - get out there and make some! It is harder when you aren't thrown together at PTA, sports, Scouts, etc...but even empty nesters can go make buddies and SHOULD! The shouldn't be just work cronies, either. Now - go find a BFF!
