Today is Lilypetal's and Michiganmn3's 2 year anniversary! We met for lunch...did a little geocaching.....a walk along the beach(Lake Michigan) That first date lasted 7 hrs. We have been together ever since. Lilypetal moved to where I am living and soon we will set up a home together. It has been a wonderful 2 yrs. Well now it has been (2 days shy of ) 3 yrs for Lilypetal and I. We share a home together, as well as a wonderful life together. A few ups and downs as in any relationship but we work together to make it work. We still pursue our favorite activities and some new ones too. We drove past the mileage marker that I saw that posted "Muskegon 138" and laughed because when I saw it the first time I thought that's not to far to go and meet someone for a date. I didn't know then how far that first meet and greet would take us, but here we are.   
Today is FIVE years for Lilypetal and Michiganman3, who would have believed it. Yes we are going geocaching today, yes we still kayak, (just not today). Still going strong. It's been so long since I've been on here I don't remember how to post little dancing bananas and pictures in a post anymore. I asked Lilypetal if we could post a Sunday morning selfie of us sitting here. LOL. Not going to happen. Well today it has been FOUR yrs since Lilypetal met Michiganman3 and we are still going strong. I walked into a place I had never been to before, to meet someone I had never seen....................... Going kayaking this morning and then tonight to our favorite restaurant for an anniversary dinner. |

Lilypetal and Michiganman3 had a great time together today, spending time together, doing things we like to do, hiking in woods,(sorta-very buggy) geocaching, at the beach, etc.

michiganman3, it's great to hear that you guys are going strong.
I did not know that, soufiehere...very cool. Congratulations to you, too, cheraldine. We wish you continued success.

my story is about how i found him here and then lost him here too. i found him a year ago year and them after a few months we get along . then one the i realize he's still going here ad yeah found someone new its a bit hard for me but its okay. so im findingthe right guy to . that will do everything for me.

oh oh oh, only 2nd date tomorrow with a hunky, hard working babe. Actually had the 1st date on another site (as unbelievable as that search function is)
 this one is much better here, and found him again.

I met my husband on Mingle2. We just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary. I just came back to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I adore my "RJ".
I received a simple "hello, how are you" and I responded. We became friends and chat buddies. I traveled overseas to meet this incredible man and it was the best decision I ever made. I'm so thankful to Mingle2 and the programmers who wrote the program code that suggested to "RJ" that he might be a ~match~ for me. Best of luck to all others searching for your perfect match. I haven't been on here long Soufie so how long did it take u to find your man on here ?
And how many did u have to block ? Nvr mine on that 1 too many too count I'm sure. :) |

Nvr mine on that 1 too many too count I'm sure. :) We spent 6 months chit-chatting, getting to know the other, I wanted to be sure before I even expressed any interest. Then I expressed interest. It then took 3 minutes :-) We spent a year with him visiting me 2200 miles from his home in Texas several times. He moved here permanently 2 years ago. ~~~ I have never blocked anyone, being a Moderator one never knows when the email is about something they need taken care of on M2. It is a great feature though. Never had a scammer. Point is, it takes some time, and we found, in actuality, it is much easier to get close to someone if you spend endless days and nights communicating with them. We figure we spent much more quality time together than most, just on the phone (imagine talking 7 times a day, sometimes for hours, over 2 years time.) Patience, trust, then taking a chance. It can work :-) |
