McCain will def not be the savior. He will continue the Bush war in Iraq, and keep the Bush tax cuts. He is a 3rd term for Bush in those regards. Hillary would do nothing to change the way things get done in Washington. I have no problem with a woman being President, just not this particular woman. I am trying to understand why so many people are just blinded to the dirty tactics she has used in this race, and want her to keep going. She's lost folks! The only way she get's the nomination is by cheating and or stealing to get it. Folsk that's how Bush got elected in 2000!

What good does it do her staying in the race? It hurts the party and keeps Obama from training his fire against the real advisary, John McCain.

so what's so great about Obama? Why is he so much better than either of those two?

He sends tingles up Chris Matthews leg and I heard he can walk on water.

huh noway

lol

In reference to Obama's speech: "I felt this thrill going up my leg" - Chris Matthews

Just think guys,
If Hillary wins the Presidency and we move to DC, each and every one of us has a chance to be the first man a President ever had an affair with!!bigsmile bigsmile

I was checking up on the political news news today. Now she keeps saying that she is stronger to beat McCain. But it was saying that Obama was 8 points ahead of McCain right now but Clinton was tied with McCain. It sounded to me like it refutes her idea that she stands a better chance against McCain. While I like Obama's solutions to things better than hers for the most part, the longer she continues, the more she does all the things I really hate seeing politicians do. I'm hating her more and more as time goes on.

History books and HELL.....HERE I COME!noway

I have to back and side with Drivin on this. None of them will save us right now. George has ****ed this country up so bad due to his incompetance.....(prolly didn't spell that right but then again...I'm not the one running for president) that there will be no repair for about 4-6 years at the earliest to see significant change back to/for the better

George isn't responsible for our mess. It's pretty much everyone in office in the last 50 years or so. Not to mention the majority of congress during that timeframe. Clintons did a number on things too. If you recall many of the overseas trading acts, gun control, outsourcing, etc. Looking at the big picture what are our problems. The federal government has entirely too much control over state runned things like schools where they push things like bush's no child left behind b.s. Our outsourcing is killing us economically. Things like genetic engineering for industrialized agriculture is it harder for smaller farms to compete. If you hadn't noticed the government has been paying farmers not to farm for decades now. How many farms do you guys know of that have bought out or ceased and then developed? In the 50's our country was 50% self sustaining foodwise. Now it's about 1 or 2%. We get most of our crap from china for god's sake. Then don't get me started on the lack of interest in alternative sources of energy. Why the hell aren't new technologies being extensively funded and/or subsidized?

Funny thing is the democratic congress was supposed to change everything because the republicans supposedly screwed it all up. This makes me laugh. Nothing has changed in the last 50 years really. Kinda been business as usual. What scares me the the general democratic notion of government expansion and government control. Another thing that scares me about this presidency is anything like the patriot act that puts our rights 2nd before our safety. This is dangerous. Don't get me started on illegal immigration.

What we need. IRS has to go. Grants the federal government too much power over state funding. States should have income tax, not the federal government. States need to be more self sufficient. Department of education should go since they try to regulate and control the schools. Instate a voucher system so parents can decide where to send their children. Invest in alternative sources of energy and subsidize costs of solar and wind power. Make it appealing for farmers to farm here again. Subsidize some of their expenses and stop paying them not to grow things. Ethanol needs to be done away with since the only thing it does is make food more expensive. We should also prosecute anyone who hires illegals like our laws state. Get rid of any benefit they can recieve. NAFTA has to go. Businesses should be penalized for hiring overseas. Wow, i could go on.

Anyway, the only candidate that i heard address most of these issues is Ron Paul. It seems people would rather have the government control more aspects of our lives and complain when they don't do it right, and wonder why we are losing civil liberties.
