been dating on and off for a while have never met his family or any friends...hes met some of my family but none of my friends...we've never been out as in dinners, movies, etc....if we do see each other its just sitting at home watching tv.

how should i approach the situation....i want to spend time with him and get to know him better and the people in his life that make him who he is....and i want him to feel as though he wants that from me too....i want to be able to have some fun with him....i feel as though im getting bored and i need some excitment by doing things with him

i dont understand why he's never tried to organise anything with me ive made attemps every now and then but he always seems busy so not really sure what to say exactly to let him know im unhappy and am wanting to spend more time with him in different ways

So should i just say it how it is or does any one have any insight to why he might not be bothered by having things this way??

yup speak your mind. If you don't start early you never will. If he takes offense then he must have not been the one sweetyflowerforyou

It sounds to me like he's just not as into you as you think he is. You're right on, he should want you to be a part of things and if he's not doing it, then move on to someone else who cares. JMO

Definitely bring something up!!! Why exactly will he sit around watching tv with you but not go out with you? Talk to him!

I have to admit that to me and this is being polite he isnt into you that way.........hes comfortable and when men get comfortable its time to move on.........you should have talked about this awhile back and maybe he is hiding something and he thinks his family is going to blab........but if I were you since you seem to like him I would really tell him how it feels and if things dont change then you either accept it or kick him to the curb...........grumble

Whatever you do ... DON'T SETTLE for less than what you absolutely need and want in a partner. Definitely express your concerns to him in a clear, open manner and if he doesn't hear what you're saying, or want to change CUT YOUR LOSSES and move on.

This is the early part of the relationship -- this should be when you're having the MOST fun and the MOST excitement ... be true to yourself and require that the people in your life tow the line ... you're worth it.

(wish I'd learned this a loooong time ago embarassed )

Maybe he doesn't see you as a girlfriend, but more like just a friend. He's "hanging out" like you would do with a friend.
