Hi there, Tiffa and mirror. Hi to anyone else who pops by later. Hope you had a good weekend. “I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.” Philippians 3:12-14 (MSG) |

Quickstepper, Your recent post: "A Fresh Anointing for His Bride" Fullness of Joy by Eileen Fisher. I had not heard of her ministry before this post, and I am curious how you came to know of her. Have you read any of her books? |

"Twas by a path of sorrows drear, Christ entered into Rest; and shall I look for roses here, or think that earth is blessed? Heaven's whitest lilies blow from earth's sharp crown of woe: who here his cross can meekly bear, shall wear the kingly purple there." (anonymous) |

"I know thy sorrow, child; I know it well, thou needst not try with broken voice to tell. Just let me lay thy head here on My breast, and find here sweetest comfort, perfect rest; Thou needst not bear the burden, child, thyself, I yearn to take it all upon Myself; Then trust it all to me today -- tomorrow, yes, e'en forever; for I know thy sorrow. "Long years ago I planned it all for thee; prepared it that thou mightst find need of Me. Without it, child, thou wouldst not come to find this place of comfort in this Love of Mine. Hadst thou no cross like this for Me to bear, thou wouldst not feel the need of My strong care; But in thy weakness thou didst come to Me, and through this plan I have won thee! "I know thy sorrow and I love thee more, because for such as thee I came and bore the wrong, the shame, the pain of Calvary, that I might comfort give to such as thee. So, resting here, My child, thy hand in Mine, thy sorrow to My care today resign; Dread not that some new care will come tomorrow -- What does it matter? I know all thy sorrow! "And I will gladly take it all for thee, if only thou wilt trust it all to Me, thou needest not stir, but in My love lie still, and learn the sweetness of they Father's will -- That will has only planned for the best; So, knowing this, lie still and sweetly rest. Trust Me. The future shall not bring to thee but what will bring thee closer still to Me!" (Anonomous) |

Proverbs 10 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV) Proverbs 10 1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. 2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. 3 The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. 4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. 5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. 6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. 8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. 9 He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. 10 He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall. 11 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. 13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. 14 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. 15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty. 16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. 17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. |

A poem that is just a rough draft...
God's Flower A delicate flower Seemingly tender and fragile However she is also strong... Withstanding... The cold of heartbreak The wind of hatred The storms of discontent Sunshine glows on her Blessing her with His warmth Loving her forever Reminding her everyday That He is there For He will never Give her more than she can handle Delicate flower that she is Because in her She's a strong elm Growing tall and mighty Even as on the outside She remains a daisy On the inside she's powerful Powerful with love Waiting to bloom into a beautiful rose For the one He has meant for her A caring soul She longs for a garden to call her own Tiny flowers she'll help bloom into life All under His warm protective glow Gentle rain cleanses her petals As His voice cleanses her soul "You will have your day, my child You will be all that you are meant to be and more Remember Me is all I ask, my Dear For I will Guide You to Your Greatest Desires" TNP 7/9/08 |

And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mark 16:17-18 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 |

God's Flower I love that Tiffa. I saw it in the poem section. powerful, true words. I was sitting out in the garden last evening, the benches finally arrived. I was admiring the big display of daisies this year. Now, when I look at them I shall be reminded of your poem. God bless. |
