BOULDER, Colo. - It wasn't exactly pistols at 30 paces, but police say a security company supervisor and a restaurateur shot each other with Tasers in a "bonehead" confrontation over parking.

This is what I am talking about. Nothing personal, but it is not simply funny. It was absolutely stupid. arrogant and unnecesarry.

Now, I don't knwo the whole story. I don't knwo if the guard was throwing his weight around, or acting the professional and the other guy throwing his weight around, but both are grown men, and both should have just shut their mouths, and acted like adults. The guard could have taken a picture of the boot on the car, and the guy cutting it off for evidence (My background is security and law enforcement as well), so if the other guy wasnt wiling to be responsible and mature then he would have the evidence he needed. Or he could have called a cop in to handle it.

THAT is what a guard is NORMALLY supposed to do, in general. If something is wrong, call the cops.

The other question I have is, what the hell is this resteraunt owner (?) doing with a taser i n the first place? I am sorry but a taser should be classified and treated exactly as a firearm. It is a nonlethal weapon, and nothing else.

I'm gonna have to call it wishful thinking, check out how many times any one of these threads denegrates within mere hours into ninnying and namecalling rather than thoughtful debate expressing differing viewpoints.

It's got many things to blame, educational systems that are increasingly more interested in teaching politicized social issues and not whats needed, an epidemic of sodium flouride and other crap in the water supply which after a long term amount of exposure can do damage to cognintive capacity, certain vaccines which have been shown to have a correlation to damaging the brain. Lets not forget that the tube, with all it's PROGRAMMING, has propagandized a huge swath of the population, turning them into bleating sheeple. That's just the stuff I could think of off the top of my head!

Well, we both agree on that, I guess we've got conditioning of our own to deal with...

How would a Taser duel work anyway? You taking turns? Whatever happened to a good old fashioned fist fight?

Or he could have called a cop in to handle it.

THAT is what a guard is NORMALLY supposed to do, in general. If something is wrong, call the cops.

The other question I have is, what the hell is this resteraunt owner (?) doing with a taser i n the first place? I am sorry but a taser should be classified and treated exactly as a firearm. It is a nonlethal weapon, and nothing else.

Dude first get a sense of humer. Second anyone can buy a taser there just expensive. They were probably using the two prong projectile type. If they want to waist there money replacing cartrages for these. ($500-$1000 a piece)

Dude, if you are in law enforcement, then you know that people are unfortunately ignorant and stupid. That's why we have a job. Yes it is silly and sad that people react that way, but in law enforcement, we see this all the time. If you are that serious and offended by this, maybe you should not do the job. If you can't laugh at the stupidity and see it for what is, life will become a stressful mess for you. I have witnessed and heard a lot of bad, sad, demented, and twisted things and recognize them for what they are, but ranting about it and getting upset does me no good. It would only give me a headache.

Dude, first dont tell me to get a sense of humor, I have one, it just does not include the idea that it is funny for two grown men to assault each other because they were both so pig-headed that they could not call in a third person to clear up the issue (like the guards superior, or a cop for the resteraunt manager).
Uneeded violence is a waste and nothing else. So please, do nt tell me to get a sense of humor and thus to change my beliefs on somethign as ignorant and stupid as this.

Yes I knwo people are ignorant (uninformed) and stupid at times, and yes this is precisely why we have law enforcement and security. However, that does not make it a funny situation. It just makes it less so. As I said earlier, after I made sure both were ok, I would probably laugh over their stupidity at each of them, but it is stills tupid.
