If he has never heard of Jesus and had no one in his entire life try to witness to him...then he is going to heaven...weird but true. Every person in their lives will be witnessed and it is their choice to take it in or walk away. (The islander Question)

handicapped go to heaven? they could not possibly know who jesus is. so? WOW!! I think that is the most judgemental statement I've ever heard how is that judgemental? i was just asking a question, and stating that SOME mentally handicapped people could not reason God or Jesus you said... and i quote... they could not possibly know who jesus is.... I have worked with the mentally handicapped for 13 years... and MANY of them would put most of us to shame on thier understanding of jesus..who he is.. how and why he died...and what he represents... maybe you need to go visit a few and see for yourself!! OK, like i said earlier i should have put SOME, you have to admit SOME will not be able to comprehend what religion or GOd is. Nobody on this planet comprehends what God is. ok then what do you have to do to get into heaven? If you read the bible... you will understand you can do nothing to get into heaven but believe and ask forgiveness. However, as for the children and childlike: "Bring them unto me" (kind of a famous quote of the bible regarding children). You think that a God of love would not extend grace to those who don't comprehend? If so go look at the entire thing again... because you got the wrong message. if an islander, in the middle of nowhere, who has never heard of jesus dies, where does he go? Go read "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. I don't think a God of love would damn someone ignorant of God just because nobody has reached out to said person. If you want to speculate about the way to heaven, go ahead... but if you want facts, you will have to die. |

your questions are what have lead me to follow pagnism; i accept all religions and judge not any however. your questions have answers only when you believe. i could not find anyone who could explain to me any of this to the point where i "felt" it, but at the same time i felt very spiritual. i finally found my place, i hope you do to.

Sorry. |

And no, for another C.S. Lewis piece to be paraphrased (it's not right in front of me, but I have the book): 'Anything of good you have done in my name, and anything of evil you have done in his.' He may, however, get a chance to repent. |

Yet, if he has acted in a good manner, and regretted his evil acts, has he not yearned for forgiveness? Thus, since God is almighty, the man has asked for forgiveness if he has regretted his evil acts (for an almighty god knows what is in a man or woman's heart). |

Pretty much. Nothing is greater than asking forgiveness, even if only by regretting what you have done wrong. It regret you acknowledge your mistakes, and you yearn for a resolution. That, in combination with an effort to improve on what you have done and been, is repentance. |

But, if he feels bad but later does that same thing again...then he really didn't have a change of heart. But, like I said, only God can make that decision. It is not up to man to decide because we can only confuse ourselves and ponder what is fair and what is not fair. |
