i just want everyones opinion, i know i live in california and alot of people here are rude and got sucky atitudes. but do you think my atitade and personality stinks? please be honest!

I live in Cali and I don't agree with your statement... People are people a$$holes are born in every state..

I've been to Ca. myself and thats the way they are. So it might not be you.

im only asking this because i was told this. i dont agree with the statement either. they said people from ny, new jersey and california are very rude. i dont think we are but im asking if i am rude so i can work on it

Th.ey don't call us "massholes" because we're nice. I spent lots of time in CA, and never encountered anyone that was exceedingly rude

I have a couple friends that live in southern cali or are from there... they are the coolest most laid back people I know!

this person lives in florida so maybe there just extra nice there and we apear to be very rude

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, I live in Michigan and I've been called rude. Be who you want and screw what everyone else thinks.

There's a differene between being "nice" and "insincere."

I lived in many different places in the US and what I noticed was that the bigger the state the "harsher and shorter tempered" the people tended to be..but I agree with whats been said, good and bad is to be found everywhere..

Well being that NY city and NJ are 2 very small states that's not completely accurate b/c they are far ruder and more to the point than Cali or any state I've ever been too.. It took time to get used to it but now I fit right in....

Actually, I read somewhere that people from Boston are supposedly the rudest (or was that most intoxicated) of anyone in the U.S.

Californians in some cases are just... strange. I mean... someone who would ACTUALLY consider crystal therapy (where a bunch of diaper-wearing nitwits chant around you while plopping chunks of quartz on your noggin for "chi balance" or whatever they call it) just CAN'T be sane, right?

Yes but the number of those that do vs. the number than do not is a huge difference going to the ones that do not.. Everyone thinks that Cali people are nuts and weird and I've always heard very laid back, never have I heard rude.. Fake yes, rude no... The thing is people from other states are usually going by what they hear not know... The majority that move here never want to go back to the state they came from...
