I used to be that way. But what with the escalating prices of everything; I must say that I am learning to shop for the cheapest. By the way...I have been finding that brand name is not always the best.

I will never buy any Pop-Tarts that aren't from Kellogg's. I once tried the generic store brand of the brown sugar-cinnamon ones, and they tasted like carp soaked in turpentine. Pretty horrible.

I have to say for the most part I buy generic unless the generic brand is just not as good. I do by one thing and that is my Hershey's syrup that I use for my chocolate milk. I've tried the generic, and it just doesn't taste as good.

OMG, I bought the generic brand of that same flavor for my kid. She took one bite and refused to eat any more of it because it tasted so bad.

I was just reading the add from the $.99 store,
It's like they have everything there now produce to freezer items
& they even have a cook book now on $.99 store cooking.

It's kind of scary to think of where some of this stuff is made & out of what that they can sale it so cheap...
