I am stuck on Bandaide Brand cause bandaides stuck on me. 
Oh great ,I just went out on the limb and bought a box of the no name ones 
I'm only kidding. I've bought all types of bandaides and have some kind of off brand Scooby on my elbow as we speak. I wiped out on my God son's skateboard at the park. I'm told it was "wicked" though.

I was just reading the add from the $.99 store, It's like they have everything there now produce to freezer items & they even have a cook book now on $.99 store cooking. It's kind of scary to think of where some of this stuff is made & out of what that they can sale it so cheap... You hear all the time that you are paying for the name..but is that always the whole story ? |

OMG, I'm a brand name die hard to the core almost sorry but if I'm going to eat it I want something that is worth eating. I have tried some generic brands. But most can not compare to the brand name. Some can veggies I will go the generic but my cabnits are brand name. Shhshs like butter it is either I Can Not Believe It Is Butter or nothing. Yeah my kids laugh at me for that one but hey if it touches this tongue I want it to taste good not just a filler.

what about other things like cleaning products , laundry soap etc.? Do you need brand names for them as well ?I do for laundry soap. Cleaning products, soap, shampoo are whatever is the cheapest. Laundry products are special since my son has allergies. Food depends on the type-I buy all my meat from a butcher, but mac&cheese is generic. My hair products are probably the most expensive thing I buy cause I get them from the hairdresser who insists that drugstore stuff is really bad. I do admit I do see a difference in my hair ...but is it worth the price Idoubt it.

I will only eat Ragu spagetti sauce. Every other kind (besides homemade) is gross to me.

There are only a few items I will NOT settle for less than my brand:
Hellman's Mayonaise Heinz Ketchup Goya Sazon Snyder's Honey Mustard Pretzel Bits Otherwise, generic or sale brand is what I grab most

Go green plant a garden, we fish and hunt for meat,I know everybody can't hunt. Some good cleaning products can be made from things in your pantry. The dollar stores at times do sell name brands so why pay more at another store. Hair products can also come from the pantry or ask friends what works best that might be less expensive than your hairdressers products. We will all have to change buying habits due to rising gas prices.
