Why is it that when someone say's they love you it's not "REAL" any more? That's word Love should not be used if you don't mean it...

I can say it to my friends but I have a problem saying it to my boyfriend. And before I get jumped, there is a difference.

Love is not a word that should be thrown around lightly. It is the most powerful word around to me if a man hears I Love You from these lips he can bet his sweet ass they are straight from the heart those are not words I casually use. To me if you don't mean it then don't say them!!

O.K. I'll be the only man to comment on this thread. The word love should be taken in context. I love my mom. I love my friends. These are two separate kinds of love. When a guy says that he loves you, and it seems too soon, mabye he just means he really enjoys spending time with you.

People love dogs, love cats, love steak, love pizza, love chocolate, love their car, love a movie, love a song. If people love all these things then love can't be that big a thing. Which is why I say to someone special I like you. Words of wisdom from a 10 year old.

I use the word love with my friends a lot!! I love myself and when you love yourself you love others is hard for someone to love someone when they don't love themselfs first, love in your heart wasn't put there to stay, because love is not love until you give it away!!
