Some people here know I don't have much use for the bible or deities, but for those of you who believe, doesn't it say "above all gain understanding" somewhere in there?  I don't see a problem with gays and lesbians getting married at all. Here in Canada it's been legal for quite some time. Time to get out of the dark ages!

Its all about politics. California has a measure on the ballot to change the state constitution making same sex marriage illegal. It is expected to overwhelmingly pass.
Now imagine this, the law today passed 4-3 by a heavily dominate Republican Court! Its all about politics!!! |

The Gov has way too much control over things that is NONE of their damn business..not letting gay people get married is beyond stupid..They should be able to love and show WHO they love just like straight people!..Who is it hurting that gay people want to marry?..Its just dumb!..YAY for California!

Don't forget the rest of that information! 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "...Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God... " How many of us can say we don't practice ANY of those? Give me a break. KJV nowhere mentions homosexuals so i don't see how this can be used as a means of debasing them...........I know your not but i'm using your quote of the verse (thanks) 9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? THANK YOU for pointing that out... I went back and looked at the place I got that quote from... sheesh... someone did add that word there. I wish I could delete it! But it does say in other places... like: Lev 20:13 "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." But it also says... Matthew 7:21 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:3 - And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Which goes along with the other part of my statement. I still think that I'm no one to judge on it... I just despise it when people use the bible to preach hate like someone in here was doing earlier. |

A High School Soccer coach was arrested for 12 counts of hanging teenage Boys from the rafters in his garage by their arms and sexually assualting them!! And he has admitted to it!!!

until someone has an arguement other than religious belief
gay marriage should be permitted religion has no place in legislature ------------- banning gay marriage is no better nor worse than women having to dress in full traditional muslum attire in the so called overbearing muslum ruled countries |

An 80 year old man in Austria held his daughter in the basement where he raped her and had multiple children for 24 years.
