“A Place of Dreams”


I want to feel the breeze upon my face.
I want to go to a special place.
You know where time will stand still.
But everyone around you is real.

That place where love.
Just floats down from above.
That place were everyone has a smile.
And life is so worthwhile.

You know the place that seems.
To only be within our dreams.
There everyone is so full of life.
And we never have to deal with strife.

Were there is no more sad tears.
And no longer do we have fears.
Were laughter comes our way.
And each day under the sun we lay.

Frolicking and dancing around.
No words that will take you down.
Oh what a beautiful vision.
Just to see and envision.

Just to go to that dimension.
Were there is no tension.
What a life that would surely be.
If only it was there for us all to see.

The alternative of living out my nightmares doesn't sound as appealing as my dreams.

When the sun sets behind the mountain’s peak,
And the day has slowly slid into night,
People no longer dare to speak,
And in the clear sky stars shine bright,
When the coyotes howl is heard far and near,
When crickets are all you hear,
And the butterflies have flown home,
The wind blows softly through desert,
I find the place where everything seems,
To stop and make way for A Place To Dream...
