“Life is to Short”

Why must one take their last breath?
And it happens only after there is a death.
It is then that we all take a long hard look.
As we look back, is that what it took.

To make us realize how short life is.
After listening what another says?
No longer too have their words around.
Must it be we have to be taken down?

Before we will take the time and see.
How life really could be.
It grabs your gut down to your very soul.
Then you realize life must have a goal.

But where did it go where did I fail.
Did we give up and bail.
Here somewhere some how we got off track.
Is there a way to get back?

Where we once were and start over.
Is there still time leftover?
To go back and do the things we wanted.
Or will we be haunted.

By the things we left undone.
We should take the time and play in the sun.
Live life to the fullest each day.
For you never know when it will be taken away.

I just went through the death of my sister's husband
very unexpeced,, she woke to find him dead in their home, on may 8th 2008.

please accept my condolences over such a sudden demise
of ur sister's husband. May God Bless his Soul and give patience to the family to overcome this grief



Carol I hear ya and my heart goes out to your family. My cousins husband passed awayon May 7th from a Massive Heartache. My heart goes out to them for it is not going to be and easy road ahead.
