Yesterday I got my hair cut. I really only wanted a trim, as my hair WAS down to my a$$. I only wanted an inch taken off and little trim to take off the dead ends. Well the guy went cut happy and cut off almost a foot of my hair. My once long hair, now only goes to the middle of my back. I cried. My hair was the one thing I took pride in. I have spent countless of hours looking for new styles, better hair care products, and even the purfect brushes to halp with the smoothness of and shine of it. And then it gets butchard.

Have any of you ever got a really bad hair cut?

I had too much cut off once and, I realy did cry too! It's like losing an arm.

I am too choosy to allow just anyone to mess with my hair, and trust me I have put my hair thru alot.

Not sure how I would have handled it as I too have had my hair up to my hip, but voluntarily donated to locks of love.

i have gotten some bad haircuts in the last few years...and it was my co workers who cut my hair...lol (i'm a stylist)

I used to cut my own hair cuz i didnt trust anyone but where i'm workin now my one co worker and i cut each others hair.

I have seen some real butcher jobs come in the salon to get their cut fixed.

It's amazing how many stylist cannot give a good fade..gotta blend it really well

I usually am as well. But I always wanted my hair done by a gay guy, stereotypical I know, but I had seen them in action and always loved the out come. Until it came to my own head. It is all uneven, but am too afraid to go to anybody else to have it fixed. Might be bald next time.

I had him put in a french braid afterwards, so really I did not see until later in the evening when I took it out. Tears just started filling my eyes.

But I will never be going back. It will be a VERY long time before I get my hair cut again.

id sure the hell o go back!!!!! today..... and get your money back... 1 inch and 1 ft is a big difference!!! the idiot should be fired for that! ... yes i had a bad haircut the last one... she didnt cut it the way i wanted... supposed to be angled and it isnt.. well she didnt cut off enough in the back i wont go back there was 30 bucks just for the cut had much better jobs done for 13! and i would of gone and got my money back too but it was a gift certificate so was too embarrased to

OMG! I have curly hair that had never been shorter than my shoulders at it's shortest....until....some guy got clip happy on me and gave me 1-5 inch layers all over my head. Now, for anyone who understands the nature of natural curl...you know that the shorter the hair, the springier the locks. To make matters worse, I pick up red streaks in my hair in the summer sun. The end result was a summer spent looking like Bonzo the freaking clown! Thank God my hair grows with amazing speed!

Yea I have to agree, I had, had better results with a chain hair dresser. This is the first time I decided to go to a higher end salon. They were having a grand opening special and thought I would chance it. Figured a trip could not be that hard to screw up. Boy was I wrong. I will go back tomorrow as they are closed today.
