Wow.....Im amazed that you guys live in the same country and a plane ticket or bus ride would daunt you!!! It is not always quite so simple as that Gypsy. Schedules and such are a factor. Then what about the unrealistic expectations that so many bring to such meetings. And then what if you do click and everything is wonderful? Which one is going to uproot their life?? These are daunting questions. Not impossible, but not so easy as some portray it to be. Its the what if factor.....whatifwhatifwhatif>>???? And unrealistic expectations should be thrown out the window.....do not expect anything and you may be pleasantly surprized!!

If you skip a person just cause they dont live in the same state or 100miles away "the one" may pass you by! thank you...my point someone once said to me...why pass up the chance to meet the person you might be with for the rest of your life..

I think a lot of it is the distance issue. You are a very attractive Lady. And you sound like you would be a lot of fun. Don't give up yet.

Wow I sit here and think if I had been that shallow and picky about distance I would have NEVER met the love of my life! And yes now we wonder who will move and uproot from thier lives. Its really and we are both willing to do anything for it! (although she is moving here!)

I've chatted with a few locals on here, unfortunately i haven't found any of them interesting enough to want to meet. it seems to be the people who are farther away that seem more interesting so far.

I have been here over a year and although I have made many friends, I can't seem to get a date. Am I not attractive, bad personality or a distance issue? Anyone have any helpful advice? you are great looking,i love your personality.i think the right guy could be closer than he appears

But you don't know that. It's like the old saying goes, "If you go looking for something, you'll never find it." That's especially true for dating and stuff like that.
