distance is a tremendous issue.
When one is not in a position to relocate for some undeterimined amount of time. I have met a couple of really sweet ladies on JSh. Have I attempted anything beyond friendship with them?? NO why set each other up for disappointment when you are thousands of miles away from each other. I have seen enough people on here get hurt like that already. JMO

Distance is an issue when it gets past the online attraction and you cant know without meeting in person. Ive been there. i touch myself...

It's too easy to be picky and critical in a forum such as this. Meeting someone in person is where you develope chemistry, or not. You have to be in person to "read " someone. So much is missed out on this way. Smile's, easy conversation, sitting a little closer, etc. So much. I realy do prefer the old fashioned way.

hey I drive 10.5 hours to see my love all the way up in Ohio, if it is love you have to be willing to travel! If you skip a person just cause they dont live in the same state or 100miles away "the one" may pass you by! |

It is not always quite so simple as that Gypsy. Schedules and such are a factor. Then what about the unrealistic expectations that so many bring to such meetings. And then what if you do click and everything is wonderful? Which one is going to uproot their life?? These are daunting questions. Not impossible, but not so easy as some portray it to be. |
