Its tough when people dont respond to your emails, even when there is no reason not to. People try to be friendly and just get to know ya, and they totally shut you off like you are not alive, anyone else have that problem, or is it just cause i look like an ogre??

It happens. But you have to realize too. Some people are on here talking in IM's and on and off. Some leave their site logged on but arent even near there computer. Some even leave for work with it logged on. Shows them online though. Give er time my friend, give er time!

It used to bother me when i first joined this site. Now i'm at a point where if i send an email i don't really exspect a reply. This is part of the reason i stick on the forum.

No you're not the only one. And it's ok...I always try to respond to emails even it's just a thanks but no thanks.
But once in awhile I just don't. Does that make me a bad person???

When I first signed up, I tried sending out some e-mails to local people. Not one ever replied. I said screw it, posted 9900 times, and now I get TONS of email here. It helps to establish a good, solid presence in the forums, but it took a few months for me to do that.

I refuse to write to anyone first, though. I figure if they want to talk to me, they can make the first move.

And a lot of them do now. But still nobody local. Seriously, there is one person from my state who I occasionally talk with on here through e-mail or IM. Everybody else I talk to is 897,000 miles away....

Humm well myself I always answer all of my e-mails.

But in the past I have sent some out without and answer and they were only friendly ones.

But now I stick to the forums and talk to the ones I know.

well no it doesn't make you a bad person, i just think it to be a courtesey to at least acknowledge, and if you dont have any interest or you want them to crawl back under the rock from which they came. I guess what i am getting at is just a little bit of honesty, if u are honest with me i dont take much offence, other than an occasional brooding point, but hey life moves on...

It's very common for people not to respond. It happens all the time and to everyone.
