 Well at least she stands up for what she belives in.  when you get older, you will find so many people will play on your behalf............some of these folks are college grads that cant find a job in their field........so they become lazy and play people to make their living...........wise up kiddo...........  Thats actually a misconception. If you have any studies or proof of this please post a link. The same applies to mothers on welfare. There are a few which are held up as being the norm. They aren't. okay, here is good for instance......if you travel the same road daily and see the same panhandler out there looking for a handout, checkout the hair....if it looks clean and is clean daily, they are playing you...........wake up guys........they are getting a shower somewhere.........we all are not gullible........... One person is not everyone. Are you the same as every other man your age who does the same profession? Have you ever talked to this person and asked why? Tell us what they say. |

If anyone knows me well enough, you know I hold no words and with complete honesty...Well,...my daughter appears to be the same... We were walking back to our car to come home a few hours ago...A homeless guy approached begging for money...I ignored him and it obviously annoyed her. She said and very politely mind you... "I have my own money, and I work for it...Sorry!" Keep in mind she is 7 years old...THats my girl  i agree with your daughter i work hard for my money (nurse) not afraid and very willing to give to those who cannot do for themselves, however most of those people prob make more money and drive nice cars. |

Again....McDonalds will hire anyone I for one would NEVER allow myself to get to that position, whether I have to have 3 jobs or not...It will get done McDonalds will not hire people with mental disorders or addictions. The problem is funding for social programs was cut on a federal level and it is up to local governments to find the funds. They turn to charities and these in turn only help the ones who can quit their substance abuse. (Most of these programs are the 10 step ones so you either are a Christian or you're out the door.) The point is there are people who fall in between the cracks. It's not as simple as saying they are lazy. Maybe in California then...but the McD's here on the East coast will hire anything...Visit one to see for yourself You speak of experience in this? You speak for them? I just know that NO MATTER WHAT the situation is..I would never allow myself to get to that position... |

At the end of the day, he pulled of a cap that had a dirty wig with long hair sewed into it, got into a BMW and drove to his gorgeous house 10 miles up the road!!!! see?????????????there are so many people in this world that have bleeding hearts that feel so sorry for people that actually screw you..............they laugh all the way to the bank, or in some cases, laugh all way to the bar............it is so true........here in indy, one guy went as far as being in a wheel chair begging.....come to find out, he can walk as good as i can............

Agreed Economy and cost of living is increasing, and my wages are not..Every penny goes to me....Get a job! |

His administration cut the funds to the mental institutions and turned the patients out into the streets. It's even discussed in college textbooks. |

there are profession panhandlers
in my old apartment one lived there, he was always drunk and could pay rent  i only give money to ones with dogs that look like there starving. i use to work at an animal shetler, we had one guy when times got tough he would donate time for food, he had 3 cats and a dog. after two weekends of him working an the other employees not giving him much, i told him take what he could carry. he came back the next weekend to work because i was nice too him. he was working two jobs and times got tough but he wanted to work not just get a hand out.

Its funny I guess.
Just a difference in US and being a daddy I guess. But I taught mine to LOVE people and to ALWAYS be polite to EVERYONE, including ones LESS attractive to others. Mine would have said DAD, is it ok if I give him my quarter. WELL, that would have opened the door to some great explanations as to why NO, as I would have gave the man a dollar my self. And then told them that was enough for him to buy a soda with,wink.. But that was nice of you son to want to help him....  BUT, WE are not the same people.. Just because MOST beggers just do it for people's kindness.. THERE our many who do it as THATS the only thing THEY can do to get money to eat or drink.. I live in every state and in the public places ALOT, daily. So I do talk to them and I always have a spare buck to throw away, or to HELP another person..
