You think this cowgirl don’t know how to ride.
Come on big boy I’ll show you my wild side.
I can ride like the wind.
And leave you so far behind.
You see the open fields are my home.
Out in the open is where I love to roam.
Get up in the morning and brush down the horse.
Riding will leave you with no remorse.
Just to feel the wind in your face.
Out in the big wide open space.
Each time the horse’s hooves hit the ground.
You don’t even care where it is your bound.
Just to feel the strength and their freedom.
Will bring over such a calm.
One you have never experienced.
But you will never know until you have chanced.
What it is like upon such a beast.
Galloping across the meadows as their speed is increased.
It is for sure feelings that most never know.
Till they see how fast they can go.
You get on and ride like the wind.
And leave all your troubles behind.

Ohhh how I miss my horse

Yep still have the rope and picturs and trophys,ribbons ect... and what memories within. I had horses for 17 years it is one of the few things to me that will make you leave all your troubles behind. If only for a short time.

Ride a horse, save Kristi....I have ridden but it's been a long time. But I know that freedom in which you speak. There's no better feeling than galloping at full speed until you get to the barn and your head nearly gets knocked off.
