What is better?
Finding a soulmate or someone that will love you for life. Looks or character What if after finding your soulmate the relationship doesn't work. Would the relationship with the soulmate end up being ultimate heartache. Would it be better to find someone that you can love for a lifetime. What's better? A gorgeous perfect looking person, or a ugly looking person with character, personality, no drama. Is it better finding that soulmate, or gorgeous person if it ends up being temporary. What if it causes greater heartache? |

People keep thinking that a soul mate is automatically a love interest. Which I find really interesting. If you believe in reincarnation, soul mates are those souls closest to us who go through many lives with us, and can often be best friends rather than lovers.
Personally, I agree, looks don't last. As long as attraction is there, looks are just a small part. But I'm attracted to character, personality, and intellect. My idea of what looks hot is a bit different than the rest of the world. That whole GQ look doesn't do it for me. |

I agree with moondark....it is what you think. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You can find a person that the world finds beautiful on the outside. That person may become very ugly to you once you get to know them... The only person it should matter to is you....

What is better? Finding a soulmate or someone that will love you for life. The Fox Says : Isn't that the same thing? I always thought a soulmate way was the person who WOULD love you forever. Looks or character The Fox Says: Character is more important, but let's not kid ourselves, looks are important too. What if after finding your soulmate the relationship doesn't work. The Fox says: Then you were wrong and it wasn't your soulmate. Would the relationship with the soulmate end up being ultimate heartache. The Fox Says : I'm sure the failure with this false Soulmate would hurt more than any other form of disappointment. Still try to pick yourself up and move on, them not being your soulmate only means your REAL soulmate is out there waiting for you. Would it be better to find someone that you can love for a lifetime. The Fox Says : Absolutely, that's what I'm going for. What's better? A gorgeous perfect looking person, or a ugly looking person with character, personality, no drama. The Fox Says : This is the looks verses character question again. Give me the ugly hassle-free person anyday, but don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled to meet an attractive person with character personality and no drama and is also into me. I'd also like a solid gold toilet seat, but it is unlikely I will get either. Is it better finding that soulmate, or gorgeous person if it ends up being temporary. What if it causes greater heartache? The Fox Says : What if? You are setting yourself for disaster, there's no what if about it. It WILL be temporary, it WILL cause a greater headache and it IS the reason most marriages end in divorce now, people match up with people that are not right for them out of fear of being alone. |

What is better? Finding a soulmate or someone that will love you for life. Looks or character accepting a person for themselves, not adding any preconceived nor expectations. What if after finding your soulmate the relationship doesn't work. Would the relationship with the soulmate end up being ultimate heartache. Would it be better to find someone that you can love for a lifetime. If things dont work, move on. Any relationship that doesnt work leaves a trail of heartache. What's better? A gorgeous perfect looking person, or a ugly looking person with character, personality, no drama. to me (and only to me) if I can close my eyes, remember small things, like how 'other party' made me feel that alone makes him the perfect most beautiful person. I see much clearer with my heart than with my eyes. Is it better finding that soulmate, or gorgeous person if it ends up being temporary. What if it causes greater heartache? The best is when you find someone that compliments you; makes you feel good. Not sure why all the emphasis on heartache, enjoy life, enjoy the good with the bad, focus on the positive, negative things will always happen but you and only you can control how they affect you. |
