Rush is a joke because he claims to be conservative when he is in fact a closet liberal. It's true. War elephant: Are you being sarcastical/silly? Lindyy No actually, I was being serious. This is a guy who claims to be conservative, yet says over and over again on his show that getting rid of the income tax is "insane." Some people may like him for his style, and I agree, as a radio personality he has a lot of it--but ideologically, I don't see a difference between him and Bill Moyers. Anyone who lets some radio personality do the thinking for them has lost all capacity for independent thought. I would tell these people that, instead of being brainwashed by the talk show clowns, have some cojones and think for yourself! mnhiker: Hey you! On one of the very recent threads you said you were "writing in John Edwards." Lindyy Lindyy, Ok, you got me. Maybe I'm a little undecided. It's not that I agree with Obama 100% on everything! My original preference was John Edwards, but he dropped out of the race.

I don't like the way Rush puts his spin on things. I don't like the way he talks about women either. The only things he says about women is..."single women are flocking to Billary or Barrak Osama. hehe Is because they want the government to take care of their children. You had them. You raise them. Not the governments responsibility to raise your kids. Is there something wrong with that statement? You can't afford them then don't have them point blank! I'm talking about his attitude and degrading remarks about women starting over 15 yrs. ago to now. You are referring to the past year or so. Not to mention his affinity for Dominican prostitutes. Wow another reliable source.Hmmm. Should I take the words of a liberal slanted news that sole purpose is to destroy any conservative personality(besides spreading fear) as the gospel. Nope.
