Rush is a joke because he claims to be conservative when he is in fact a closet liberal. It's true. War elephant: Are you being sarcastical/silly? Lindyy No actually, I was being serious. This is a guy who claims to be conservative, yet says over and over again on his show that getting rid of the income tax is "insane." Some people may like him for his style, and I agree, as a radio personality he has a lot of it--but ideologically, I don't see a difference between him and Bill Moyers. Anyone who lets some radio personality do the thinking for them has lost all capacity for independent thought. I would tell these people that, instead of being brainwashed by the talk show clowns, have some cojones and think for yourself!

mnhiker...so i shouldn't believe in what jerry springer tells me????? lol rush claims to be an entertainer people....simple solution...if you don't like to hear it and it causes this much stress....turn off the radio. you choose to read and listen and get all worked up, so don't blame rush when your stress level is sky high

I do not mind if the extreme right uses its right of freedom of speach but it shouldbe balanced by the exxtreme left not balanced by a cenerist righ wing moderate Conservative talk radio has been florishing for decades, liberal talk radio, bankrupt in the first 6 months. Do the math nobody listened to the liberals.
