This is excuse number one billion and one !. Many countries withdrew from their colonies and their colonies became better and more secured ...etc. Read the history of colonies . When you have an agenda not to withdraw ;you will find loads of silly excuses that no adult should be subjected to . Since when nations started building other enemy nations with bombs ,missiles, and all the force available to them ?. !.

Alright, no congressmen is qualified to handle this situation as long as it's a military matter. The only people that are in the position to make intelligent decisions are the leaders on the ground. And yes, we cannot just tell the world our plan because the enemy isn't retarded.

if the war is about oil....why would we be rebuilding the country back and helping them form a government where the people can vote????? that doesn't make sense to me. it seems most of the countries that are against us are worried they won't get the oil contracts. even if oil is a part of it...why shouldn't the ones fighting to help the people get out of that madman's grasp and rebuild their country and help them set up a government where the people can vote who leads...deserve more rights to the oil???? why should a country like france, who has done nothing but whine, deserve it more???? we helped the people like we did in Kosovo. the war there didn't last as long because 1. they were poor, 2. they are a small country and 3. they didn't have the insurgents to continue like iraq
