It's great to see I ain't the lone soldier here!
If you like working with people, I can say nursing is great! The pay is pretty good to excellent, the hours can be flexible, and you find jobs easily. Add in the various advanced degrees you can pursue and it's a great career to move into! Hats off to us, the older student! drinker

CSI. And what are you going to do with your degree? Are you going further in your education?

Yepper...get my RN, get some experience while I decide on a masters. Right now I'm thinking about chasing the bucks and go CRNA or get an education degree and teach nursing in the future. I tutor quite a few lower classmates and it's cool to watch their eyes light up when they finally get something!

Off to study group. Talk to ya later!

Wonderful. I did nursing for 5 years. Loved taking care of the patients, but hated working for azzholes that pushed people around to fast to get the job done. Many patients asked for me to take care of them.

I am working two jobs and attending college now. It was hard working for what and never getting ahead. I think I appreciate school now than I did before, took it for granted and was afraid that people would not like if I seemed smart. That sounds stupid, but now I do notice some jealousy if you do well, but oh well.
