Do you believe that the spirits of dead pets hang around before going into heaven? I've been reading a really good book about ghost cats, where people encounter spirits of felines that came back to say "goodbye" to the owners, or sticking around and doing the same routines over everyday.

To answer my own question, yes i do believe because i'm currently haunted by a ghost cat. I feel it jump on my bed every night, theres cat foot prints all about my apartment, the trash can gets knocked over once a week, and i can leave paper wads on my desk and find them all knocked under my bed in the morning. I'm just happy i don't have to pay the pet deposit or buy food ^.^

Men wrote the Bible, so that doesn't mean they are correct that animals have no souls. Just because someone writes a book doesn't mean they are an expert..... I KNOW animals have souls, just not the same catagory. Yes, I am a fruitloop. Get over it and move on......

I think it's a nice warm fuzzy feeling to think that the spirits of the ones we love "linger" but don't you think they have better things to do? My mom passed 11 years ago, and although I know she checks up every once in awhile to kick me in the ass.... I'm sure she's much to busy doing "spirit" things to hang around my house, or my 3 brothers houses, or my nephews house. Besided there's things I just prefer her not to see anyways.......
