I need to get the drive reformatted. I don't know about the video part though...I was told I was running it the other way of what you said wyatt lol. I think I need to strip it all and start from the beginning. I don't know why the computer isn't running XP right. I downloaded a clean disk. this is pissing me off. I don't have the money to get a new one and I'm too stubborn to give up on this one lol. MY LIFE SUCKS lol

how do I know if I'm running it from the graphic driver VS video card? I know my video card is built into the mother board. I thought about trying to switch it out with my bro in laws card that works...and NOPE can't do it. I couldn't even get ethernet going so I had to buy a bypass and install the ethernet card

damn it wyatt lol...don't ask me these things. I got a new, empty hard drive and installed XP like the computer told me too. then installed the etheralnet for internet connections.

I installed XP from disk and hoping to do 200 from disk but not sure I can find a disk for 2000. But I may only have to download online...in that case I will still have XP on the system when I do

What'd I do now?

I install registry cleaner and advanced system optimizer, but the computer was acting this way even before I installed them. I haven't even download my yahoo IM yet. this is still pretty much blank. the fonts etc and the slow running happened as soon as I downloaded XP. so that is why I think it's the XP. I got more memory etc. the computer ran fine with 2000
