this is one of the most stupid questions i have ever read. Why is it a stupid question? Were or were there not other people on the earth? JB I don't think they were the two first humans on the earth. That would imply that either the answer to the original question is Yes. Or they were incestous people. I believe that Adam and Eve were allegorical characters in a story in order to illustrate God's creative power. |

This implies that there were others outside of the Adam and Eve family If Adam and Eve were the first on earth wouldn't the other people be related anyway? Adam and Eve were not the first humans on earth. They were the first genetically engineered "new and improved" humans. The engineers (Or creator God) took the primitive "pre-humans" living on the earth and engineered their DNA and made improvements on them. Why do you suppose they have not found the missing link in the line of privative humans to homo sapiens? I know, it does not say this in the Bible (in so many words) because who back then would understand DNA etc. These advanced scientists were viewed as Gods. JB What do you base that belief on? Genesis is an extremely abridged and customized version of creation. There are earlier sources - the Enuma Elish, for example. |
