Even before I saw the "Just Kidding" I was tearing holes in the story.

1. Congress is being mostly run by liberals, that last thing they'd want is Bush in office one more time.

2. The Constitution was Amended to limit the number of times a president can be elected, both Congress and the Supreme Court would have to agree to make another amendment and you can guess how other that happens.

3. Why would republicans bother with McCain if Bush would be running again, unless they don't think he could possibly win, in which case why make the Amendment.




...sigh, sometimes it's less funny to be smart...

A third term for Bush would be better than Hilliary, Obama or McCain. Personally, I'm rooting for Hilliary...I think she will herald in the apocolypse.

Actually all Bush has to do is go on the Tube and utter the words "Martial Law" and he can sit in office as long as we are under it.
No other president has created as much National emergency/Martial Law plans than Bush.
Whether we get the joy of going there or not remains to be seen, but he has given himself that authority and the Next guy...or gal who gets the seat.
How scary is that, any of the media loved choices using Bush's Frankenstien of an Executive?
