Me: Yeah Im thinking about adopting a someday...I can't have any more...my son is my miracle. Him: *GULP* Whats that needle for? Why do you need to take a shot? Are you Diabetic? Me: No, Im not diabetic. I actually have this really crazy rare heart condition. Ive had 2 open heart surgeries the last couple years and... Him: ***Gulp***"Im sorry but I cant date you...I mean, you are an awesome girl...but when I get to know someone I get really attached, and it would just hurt too much...well...uh...if I lost you. Start dating a woman even though you knew in advance that she would not be able to have kids??? I know this is a tough question for the younger men without kids already. I want to know your thoughts. I have a son, Im lucky. But the doctors told me I couldn't have any more. I feel bad for what ever new relationship I get into because at some point if we got married, I couldn't give him (his own blood)to carry on. I hope whomever I end up with would HAVE to love my son just as their own...but do you think most guys would find this tough to swallow? HONEST opinion PLEASE! Yes. Can always adopt or if she's willing use a surrogate. |
