not rude just blunt

some women like it when guys are blunt. In fact it's actually a pick up technique used by many.

Always has worked for me, as long as i was honest about what i wanted and thought.

i really think that is the trick. Women, for the most part, can tell when a guy is being honest or lying. If a guy is blunt about things, and is honest, it not only catches their attention (kind of a shock factor), but it might hold it for a little while because it gives them a break from having to read into every word you say or action you make.

think sometimes it's not what you say but how its said, jmo

I think before i speak, just dont lie when trying to meet women. Only bites you in the a$$, just dont understand when being nice become more important than being honest.

Any and all conversations I take part in are courteous and respectful, it may be a lot to ask of some people but not all. This is just how I like to treat my friends, acquaintances etc.

I have a very low tolerance on b.s., I dont entertain it nor waste anyone's time w/it, but this is me, dont judge all on my actions

As to when being nice became more important than being honest, you tell me, because I never stated such.

But keep in mind we get what we put out (karma) so I try and take a positive outlook on all.

this may sound pretty stupid, but why would anyone contemplate lying when just meeting a person? does this action not defeat the whole purpose?

Why do you want to start fights? Why lie to start them? Lying takes away one's integrity.

There's blunt and there is sincere and honest. I suspect that most of the time, blunt does not work, unless it is done with tact... if that's possible.

Too blunt is called "Insert foot in mouth" in my area.

I think if you could get rid of the chip on your shoulder and the bitter attitude about women in general that you project, you might have better luck.

Apparently not for some. And it depends on your agenda. When you want a person to know the real you ~~for a possible genuine relationship, you do not lie to them. You may put your best foot forward, you may try to impress, but you don't engage is bald faced deceit.

If you do not like the real you and you do not think anyone else could possibly love the real you, then you lie.

Pathetic pickup artists who just want to get laid don't want to show their real purpose or agenda so they lie.

Doesn't keep away the ones who really want to know you. Being guarded can be a good thing.
