oh just a measly 1,500 miles
but at least we are on the same continent it's still going pretty strong, almost 2 years later. of course, it is not easy and it takes two fairly strong and trusting people to do this |

I actually moved from Cali to Utah to where i live now. We lasted almost a year, but by her not being honest with herself, Things went down hill. I know long distance relationships can work. It's just knowing if both are willing to work for it.
Sorry, but i hate when people say that it don't work. The fact is that there are a few coupls that it has lasted from this site. |

My sweetie is 2 hours from me right now. We see each other as much as we can. Working out fine so far.

I actually moved from Cali to Utah to where i live now. We lasted almost a year, but by her not being honest with herself, Things went down hill. I know long distance relationships can work. It's just knowing if both are willing to work for it. Sorry, but i hate when people say that it don't work. The fact is that there are a few couples that it has lasted from this site. I agree with you. With strength, love and determination, any love in a relationship , regardless the distance, can blossom and grow!

I don't think I could do long distance unless for a short time unless he was military. I think that is different.. I want my man here beside me...

Yes. He is 2000 miles away. It is very hard but he is more than worth it. It was not at all what I had planned and never considered it before I saw his posts, talked to him on the phone, and then met him in person. I have faith it will work out.
So I say give it a try if there is a member further away than you might like. You never know... |

I tried that three times in 2006, the distances ranged from 300 - 600 miles, and they were all worse than being eaten by an allosaurus with a migraine.
The new policy is I limit the distance to six blocks. Which is going to be a problem because the only people within six blocks are farm animals, but I haven't got all the details worked out yet. |
