Is it possible that McCain did sing to save his own skin? Possible.
Is it possible that he would lie to further his political career? Very possible.

Is your "boing boing, ding ding" an alarm bell that someone is lieing but you don't want to face it? Only you can answer that truthfully.

Blind faith is a scary thing. I certainly don't have it in me to trust a politician. I see their lips move and I'm already suspicious.

The problem with the McCain "songbird" story is that it comes down to people making accusations, credible ones sometimes, but not being able to produce the concrete evidence.
I suggest, if you are going to attack Sen. McCain, you should do it on topics that are easily proven.
Might I makes some suggestions? Try the 1st amendment cruncher of McCain-Feingold, the Amnesty bill he worked on with Ted Kennedy or his flop on the Torture bill. Also, you could get far with the Keating 5 scandal, calling his wife the 4 letter c word that all women scorn, his well documented anger management issues or his inability to keep the distinct difference between Sunni and Shi'ite straight in his head.
Another fun concept is to pose the question: Since Sen. McCain spent so many years inside of a POW camp, When was the last time he was Psychologically examined?
That being said, at least Sen. McCain saw active duty, the aforementioned Bush may or may not have been guarding Dallas from the N.Vietnamese, as Jesse Ventura put it.

I am quite capable of thinking for myself that's why I am a conservative not a liberal socialist. I am intelligent enough to express myself without having to cut and paste from the New York Times and/or moveon.org I can read the facts and make a decision based on them all by myself, I don't need some socialist rag to tell me what my opinion should be. I have studied history unlike the liberal socialists who seem to be more content to repeat the mistakes of the past than learn from them.

found a verry interesting article about Mcain and when googled it all seems to add up....................John McCain is the man that the North Vietnamese called "Songbird." A misnomer, actually. The correct term is stool pigeon. They called him "Songbird" because he told them everything they wanted to know.
