people in the town i am from are dying from cancer.My mom and her husband both got cancer at the same time and we know alot of other families with it.I have a big lump on the back of my leg and i am suppose to get xrays tomorrow and i am scared it might be cancer.i just wondered if anyone knew what to do to help me get through this?

honestly i have a lump on my leg and i had to get test ran on it well it came back as a cyst. cancer is not contagous so i dont know, but i will be praying for you

This also happened in Nj..forget the name..near the beach..Stats of ppl wwith cancer were extremely high..

It could just be a fatty tumur, so until your test I would try to relax, because even if it is, YOUR leg is one of the safest places to treat it and find it....good luck tomorrow.

no, it's not contagous. there are things we can ingest that would screw us though. depleted uranium has upped a lot of cancer rates in iraq..

a cyst cancer? can u get rid of it pretty easily?

well it wasnt cancer bu what they did was some kind of laser surgery and it went away but i still get regular checkups cause im scared of that cancer stuff too

But if you think something is up the first thing to check is the water supply. Fill a mason jar or other glass container - not plastic or metal - and find somewhere neutral where you can have it tested. And don't tell anyone you are doing it. I would not trust the local authorities to do that. Take it out of town or contact someone at a large university.

The next thing is neighborhood. If all the cases are all close together it could be a landfill problem with seeping chemicals. One time some guy somewhere was collecting radioactive stuff in his garage. It could be everyone has been exposed to asbestos, like in a school or factory. Old buildings can break down and it can get into the ventilation system.

Last would be the air, things like chemicals from smokestacks or radiation but you'd have to be near a nuclear power plant, etc.

yea well thats why i went and had mine checked out my whole body was modled which means cutting off the circulation, well the cyst in my leg was so big that it was applying pressure to my veins and crap so it made for poor circulation

there is a factory nearby that dumps chemicals down their drainage system into our water.
