It seems to me that if a person is going to be all hot and bothered in defense of our fair language, she should take the time to learn to spell it. haha true

There is one thin that bothers me the most and I just have to say it. If you are in a public place with family or friends.Please speak English. I can't stand to be in a grocery line waiting and in front of are..lets say.. 5 people and they are all speaking spanish. I think that is so rude. You are in America and I would appriciate it if you speak the langue in public. I could give a **** what you do in the privacy of your own home, but in public speak English. Why would you care if they were not talking to you? This country is suppose to be so open minded, and tolerant. Why cant people be who they are? who are you and what have you done with Briancarr? explain

Actually, interestingly enough, English in NOT the official language of the United States. Also, people travel from other countries. When I was in Mexico, I felt free to chat with my daughter in English. The people there did not seem offended by it. They were nice.

There is one thin that bothers me the most and I just have to say it. If you are in a public place with family or friends.Please speak English. What would they do if we went to their country....sure they wouldn't like us talking in our language......speak American or go the hell back where you came from......

This isn't about deaf people. i understand that. but i was just saying...she said it was rude not to speak english...and ya know sometimes generalizations are just that. and it was one.
