well I am kind of with you I believe theres a god and off course there is satan but really how the **** was mary a virgin and out pops a kid there is no way every one can tell me it's a miarcle but I know people have to have sex to make a child and so on I mean I know I did not all of a sudden just pop out of the blue. plus look at the pictures people have of what god is suppose to look like he looks like he was a pot head and he is probally not a virgin.

Let me tell you how that could have happened if it did, perhaps she was abducted by aliens and inseminated and put back with her memory removed. It could happen. bigsmile

If you don't believe in God but you believe that religion is a powerful force that seems to have an unnecessarily large effect on our society then I think this is a good place to post.

Atheism, as an explicit position, either affirms the nonexistence of gods[1] or rejects theism.[2] When defined more broadly, atheism is the absence of belief in deities,[3] alternatively called nontheism.[4] Although atheism is often equated with irreligion, some religious philosophies, such as secular theology and some varieties of Buddhism such as Theravada, either do not include belief in a personal god as a tenet of the religion, or actively teach nontheism.

Many self-described atheists are skeptical of all supernatural beings and cite a lack of empirical evidence for the existence of deities. Others argue for atheism on philosophical, social or historical grounds. Although many self-described atheists tend toward secular philosophies such as humanism[5] and naturalism,[6] there is no one ideology or set of behaviors to which all atheists adhere.[7]

The term atheism originated as a pejorative epithet applied to any person or belief in conflict with established religion.[8] With the spread of freethought, scientific skepticism, and criticism of religion, the term began to gather a more specific meaning and has been increasingly used as a self-description by atheists.

I have not actually changed my beliefs, I have just dropped the label "pantheist" because my beliefs don't seem to fit into that box.

Because I believe that we are all connected, which is supported by quantum physics, I was given the label "Pantheist" by others. It sounded reasonable to me, so I accepted their label, not even knowing what their understanding of that label was.

But now that I have heard the arguments and definitions about what pantheism is, I decided that I don't want that label, nor do I want to be put into any position where I have to defend or justify that particular idea as it applies to my personal beliefs.

So I dropped the label. I was beginning to encounter people who wanted to over-think and over analyze their understanding of pantheism as it relates to a God and their own beliefs.

That just seems tedious to me. Tedious and boring. I know nothing about pantheism.

So call my belief jeanniebeanism if you want.

I have a few clues about the fountain of youth that I am working on and following....

The holy grail, for me, comes with the package, and it is about finding the secrets of manifesting reality from thoughts and feelings.

Emotional trauma may be the thing that ages people...... as it depletes life energy. Programing, confusion, stress etc... effects the body and ages it. Clear thinking, releasing of trauma, unconditional love, forgiveness, understanding, extends life.

Unforgiveness, stress, trauma will hold a person back from succeeding in life and finding joy and happiness. Cancer and disease feeds off of stress.

You can discuss not being sure, for sure. You rock, Jeanniebean.

And life's a party in my book. I celebrate every day and every night.

Stay tuned. More fun on the way.

And I'm a pan-fryer, myself.
