Topic: the mindless sheeple who support the war

yes, this not a popular war. Maybe it should have never been started. But as freedom loving people as we are, it's our duty, to protect and serve the people who can't defend themselves against tyranny, abuse and genecide. We started it, we must see these people through their time of need. If we leave now, innocent people will have their blood spilt. We left a job undone in Vietnam, many people who where freedom loving lost their lives because they chose the side of liberty and freedom for all. This should never happen again.

Oh, YIPPEE!

I get the honor of having another 'label' applied to me - "mindless sheeple."

Sheeple - sheep.

I do believe Jesus referes to his people as His sheep and He their shepherd.

Jesus also says "Feed my sheep."

So, I wonder what he thinks of His sheep as being referred to as 'mindless?"

Why do people feel the need to start pointless arguments like this?

I'm not going to argue with you, mate. You've already made up your mind.

because this a public forums, and everybody has the right to express their points of view.
but do they have the right to call other people names because they have a different opinion? Disrespect is a trademark of the liberal mindset

hmmmm.. Liberal mindset, well I defend your right to say that sir. Many in the world may not speak as openly as you or allowed to voice their opinions on a venue such as this. Open discussion are healthy in a society based on freedom and liberty.

You know Madison, I can respect that good people disagree about the war, about politics and about the best way to run a government. Respect to the point of being able to have civil discourse and even spirited debates. But what I don't respect is seeing post topics that look like yours. Mindless Sheeple? Is that supposed to be clever? Do you think it original or even vaguely inspiring?

You really do nothing to add to the solution. Your calling people names doesn't make them want to learn or try to understand your point of view. It makes most (including me) think: "Huh, this guy obviously disagrees with the war but why does he feel the need to insult those who hold a different view?"

I don't think threads like this add anything to the picture. They won't change minds already made up and they won't sway those who have cause to reconsider their stance. Perhaps if you had sought to inform, to educate, and above all to treat those who don't agree with you as something more than a group of morons, you'd have better luck.

Then again, maybe that is not your goal.

Reading this I think'
Why does he even post here?
Answer- this is an attack upon the op! No other reason for him to respond unless he feels identity to the topic, or wants to belittle the OP.

You think you are tactful, (conceit?)
I dont know, but if you cant do anything but address the person then what is your purpose for posting?

Obvious- Your post is nothing more than an attack upon the OP!

Plenty of threads here to post on or read. So, why address this one at all, unless its an attack, or your jealous because no one responds to your threads.

Mindless sheeple,
I believe that is a label applied to those without knowledge concerning the issues and concerns of their neighboring States let alone Globally!
They just repeat what their God says and follow him any and everywhere he leads them.

Crazy ****, esp, when your god is GWB!!drinker

Oh by the way,
He didnt apply an individual's name,
you applied that label to yourself.

Oh well, I always heard

Hey Madison, since you're so concerned about war, I'm just wondering what your position is on the current Serbia debacle? Or is that outside your political comfort zone?

Really
Im not anti-war

Nor are most here!
How many times have you seen threads
attacking Bush for the war in Afghanistan?

When there's a reason and its justified
I say go kick their butts
regardless of the loss in American G.I.'s lives!

Iraq is an illegal war,
I dont give a crap what the UN says
The America I love,
doesnt attack another country unprovoked!!

Regardless of how much you ignore the facts
The fact is,
all of Bush's expert advisers,
military Generals and what not,
were ignored!

This war is being fought,
with American lives for personal reasons,
by a man that hid behind his fathers wealth and power
to avoid the same thing he asks these boy's to die for!
(minus the oil)

If you want,
I can run down some Generals, who in their own words
saying Bush ignored their advice
both before invadeing Iraq,
and since!!!

I say we amend the Constitution to say
A man cannot be elected President unless
he has military service first!

At least then we wont have
leaders asking soldiers,
and their families to do
what they themselves were unwilling to do!drinker
