taskbar shenanigans...

got a quick question. thought I'd pose it to this forum. See what comes back..
a couple of times in the last few weeks, I've noticed that when I'm in Word and roll the mouse cursor over the taskbar, the max'd Word window minimizes and windows goes to the web browser that's usually running behind my Word session.. so when this happens, I save and shut everything down. update my spybot, the malware and antivir programs. then I run the battery of scans.. yesterday when this happened, I came up with the fraudload.fhy trojan out of the system files directory. online resources says it's a low level threat an I got rid of it.. who can tell me about what particular viruses have this effect on the OS, what registry entries to look for, etc to make sure this thing goes away.. thanks in advance! |

America is not, was not , and never was intended to be a Democracy. Source: United States Constitution You're right, but it has been turned into one and then... "Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. " John Adams ~Letter to John Taylor (1814-04-15) Adams was right. |

anything to quiet a dissenting voice, right?
no bridge too far.. no depth too low that can't be sunk to.. no charge too outrageous that the Obamachine won't level on any of it's more vocal critics.. |

Like my dad used to say "wish in one hand and siht in the other see which one fills up first" sad but true. your dad said that too!?!? i used to hate it when my dad would tell me that!! but the lesson sunk in.. outside of christmas and my birthday, I never wish for anything! wishing is useless. action is what counts. |

not a fan of history or literature then, are you?
if you think "white folks" invented racism and are the only people capable of being racist, you have no idea what world you really live in. |

you mean the racism you grew up not knowing but "came to see" when you were finally a big girl..
c'mon. this man is a race-baiter if there ever was one.. He even pisses Jesse Jackson off how good he is at it.. and now he has people out there yelling racism! racism!! everytime someone speaks out against his policies... such people are worse than the race-baiter because they do it without their own knowing. puppets. with no will or thought of their own.. "what's that? you don't like Obama's healthcare plan? you bleeping racist" "what's that? you're not a fan of his plan to spend a trillion dollar without any real clue what they're going to spend it on, only that they're going to spend it? You bleeping bleeping racist!!? "what's that? you don't agree with me? what a racist you are!!" You run around with your bucket of scarlet paint and everything and everyone you that dares disagrees with you gets a big fat 'R' painted across their chest!! do you know you actually do damage to the civil rights movement with your antics?? everytime you cry "racism" where there is none, you make it just that much harder to get the townspeoples' help when the wolf actually does come!! |

about race with this guy.. ??
every time we turn around, something else slinks out from his past that's all about race. first it was his "typical white lady" grandmother then it was "white folks didn't seem to be put off by me as long as I was clean cut and didn't seem angry all the time" then it was "a white man's greed runs a world in need" then it was the "U.S. of KKK A." Then it was about "a day... when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. " Now his latest, ehem..., Czar proudly identifies himself as a communist after having spent a night in jail being arrested during the Rodney King Riots and meeting some "real communists and anarchists and thought, 'this is what I need to be about'. This man also refered to all conservatives and Republicans something that'll get filtered here and accused "white polluters and white environmentalists" of poisoning the black community.. So you tell me.. When is it NOT about race with this Obama character??? |

Just yesterday, its been reported a Pro-Obama care protestor confronted some anti-Obama care protestors, punched one in the face and bit his finger off.. a 65 year old man was punched in the face and had his finger bitten off by an Obama care supporter.. Um, the way I read it.... the guy that had his finger bitten off was a supporter of Health Reform. The person that did it was opposed. http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/09/03/protester-bites-off-finger-of-obama-supporter-at-health-care-ral/ I didn't see who got to keep the finger. ******* Wait... here's another report saying the opposite, lol! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/03/finger-bitten-off-in-figh_n_276235.html yeah, I've been reading somewhat conflicting reports over who got the finger bitten off. But what's not under dispute is that a man from the Probamacare protestor side crossed the street, confronted the Anti-ObamaCare side, and punched a 65 year old man in the face. (what a puss*!) The man that lost the finger in the ensuing scuffle went to the hospital and had his pinky finger reattached and the alleged assailant is still at large. re: "paid protestors" - are we talking about the people out there protesting against the SEIU and the protest "sponsored by MoveOn.org" or are you talking about the Union/MoveOn crowd? because it seems to me that when it's the Pro-Obama crowd, the media is quick to call them 'grassroots' like OFA, ACORN, MoveOn and the Unions (AFL-CIO, SEIU, Teamsters).. and the Anti-Obama crowd is labeled by the same media as "paid protestors" and "astroturf".. seems someone's got the shoe on the wrong foot. re: waterboarding corpses.. you necro! |

I've been hearing this guy and his 'downfall of America' theory for a while. And I'm not sure what to make of it. After all, he is credited with predicting the same for the USSR. So, if that's true it tends to lend credibility to his claim. On the other hand, the Ruskies are famous (notorious?) for their use of propaganda. I wouldn't put it past them to float this out there. Yet another way to view it is through the prism of the self-fulfilling prophecy.. Things are crazy here right now. People are highly polarized. perhaps more so now than in any time in recent history/memory. The Russians are still peavish over losing East Germany and the rest of the Iron Curtain. What better than to attempt to push the US over the edge? If it works, all the better. If it fails, so what? they're no worse off than before. So if they can foment an American insurrection, they can achieve their goal much easier than sending Red Army troops onto US soil. Anyone who thinks the Russians and the KGB went away and took their ideologies with them is a blind fool. Panarin and his theory are a product of that ideology and has the goal of returning the favor. |

"pro-Democrat protestors who are the ones commiting acts of violence against persons and property" I went to a health care reform rally last week. The people were peaceful. At the edge of the rally people that were against it were hollering during the opening prayer and throughout the speeches. They blasted a car horn for a long time too. Extremists exist on both sides. That means that pro-Republican protesters are committing acts of violence against person and property too. I think that more of them are doing it then the pro-Democrats. I can point you to several instances where pro-Democrat protestors/activists have committed acts of violence. Take Maurice Schwenkler of Denver, Colorado. Arrested at the 2008 RNC protest in Minn. Arrested in Denver for vandalizing the Dem. Party HQ's after which Dem spokesperson said that it HAD to be racist, hate-mongers from "the other side" only to find out that it turned out to be one of thier own, one of thier own paid campaign workers. Upon being confronted by this, she said basically the same thing you say.. well it's happening on both sides. Just yesterday, its been reported a Pro-Obama care protestor confronted some anti-Obama care protestors, punched one in the face and bit his finger off.. a 65 year old man was punched in the face and had his finger bitten off by an Obama care supporter.. |

The website cited below has been suspended by barackobama.com suspended meaning....no longer valid..... uh. suspended meaning they someone's a$$ is in a sling over this. The first line in the article indicated it had been suspended.. That doesn't mean that the Obamatons have all of a sudden lost their taste for the rhetoric. Nanci Pelosi still thinks of her opposition as Nazis and facists. There is still the matter of the memo "warning" of a surge in "right-wing militia activity". Harry Reid still held an "invitation only" pro-health care rally and called it a town hall meeting.. All that despite the fact that it's the Union Members, and pro-Democrat protestors who are the ones commiting acts of violence against persons and property, SEIU beating up the memorabilia vendor in St, Louis and the incident in Denver.. And I'm not even getting into the disgrace and utter lack of civility and taste that is the attempt to hijack the sacred date of September 11 for the purposes of labeling and libeling Free Americans as "terrorists". Edit: furthermore, it doesn't matter if it was taken down. the fact remains that the former Obama Campaign Apparatus posted a memo to its legions that called refered to it's politcal opposition as "terrorists". Totally beyond the pale and totally unacceptable and if it weren't for media sources such as Heritage, it would have been as a tree falling in the forest. NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN etc would never have reported on a Pro-Obama website (indeed the website formerly known as ObamaForAmeica) refering to Obama's politcal opposition as "terrorists". It would have been swept under the rug like Charlie Rangel's tax-evasion.. If You can't get the simplest part about what Pelosi actually said correct, then reading the rest of you rethoric is useless to me. typical.. I'm sure that you feel that facts which are incongruent with your view pretty much ARE useless to you.. I never referenced what she said. I refered to what she thinks of her opposition. And I stand by that. Did Harry Reid not hold an "invitation only" "townhall meeting", that only his campaign supporters and union members were "invited to"?? and Willing2 brings up a point that I had left out. Yes, our homeland security department under Obama now classifies war veterans as potential terrorists.. way to honor your veterans!! This Obama is the man you're so prooud of?? why? I want to know why.. because he makes a good speech?? because he makes you feel all tingly inside? because he makes you feel like less of a racist? because you think his being president makes other people think you're less of a racist? what? what is it? how much more clear does he have to be to make you see him for what he is?? how much more explicit does his political apparatus, (e.g. OFA, ACORN, SEIU) have to be before you see it for what it is?? |

According to a post on my.baraackobama.com if you oppose the Nationalization of Health Care, you are..
http://blog.heritage.org/2009/09/01/obamas-team-crosses-the-rhetorical-line/ Obama’s Team Crosses the Rhetorical Line Posted September 1st, 2009 at 12.01pm in Ongoing Priorities. (Update: The website cited below has been suspended by barackobama.com. The screenshot to the right is the original page, but the embedded links will no longer work. Click on the picture to the right for a full-screen view.) Many Americans took off work and sacrificed family time this past August to attend congressional town halls, where they voiced opposition to a government-run overhaul of their personal health care choices. They hand painted signs, grabbed their children and drove to their local church or school gymnasium for valuable lessons in community organizing and democracy. While they lived the Rockwellian version of American discourse, they were called names, labeled as ‘too organized’ or “un-American”, and likened to mobs, Nazis and Fascists. And now President Obama’s team has designated September 11 as the day to liken conservatives to Al Qaeda terrorists. Today, President Obama’s campaign organization “Organizing for America” sent out a notice to its “grassroots” supporters. It asked them to wage a coordinated phone campaign for health care by calling their U.S. Senators on September 11 – also known as Patriot Day in honor of the thousands of Americans killed by Al Qaeda terrorists eight years ago. It goes on: “All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic Process, whipped to a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.” Please read that again. Typically when this type of outrageousness is unleashed on the American public, the appropriate response is to recall the webpage and explain the gray area, with phrases such as ‘that was taken out of context’ or ‘we didn’t mean that conservatives were actually terrorists’ or ‘that was written by a junior staffer who has been admonished’. But that should not be sufficient this time. There are several lessons America must learn from this: Bipartisanship: Rather than rally our nation, which is certainly more divided than ever, they seek to make those divisions even more distinctive this September 11. The President often talks about reaching across the aisle, working with people of differing viewpoints, but that rhetoric is not matched by this reality. Zealots: This type of irresponsible rhetoric can make dissent against the President seem dangerous. Down the road, the President could paint his detractors as nothing more than right-wing zealots bent on destroying his vision for the nation. Remember, these ‘zealots’ are not smuggling weapons, they’re smuggling poster board and markers. They’re not flying planes into buildings; they’re flying to see their parents for Thanksgiving. Free Press: How does it help our nation to rally against a free press? If Fox News doesn’t report the story as the White House sees it, does that make them a “propaganda network” as it says on today’s release? Who are the “treacherous leaders” that Fox News is reporting to by the way? These questions need answering. Memorial: September 11 should be a day to grieve and remember, not a day to lobby for government-run healthcare. It certainly should not be a day to demonize fellow Americans. America’s enemies are violent extremists, bent on bring this nation to its knees, not soccer moms, dads and senior citizens who may disagree with one’s political or policy views. Results: Will a single American become more enamored with the President’s health care plan, if they are called a terrorist? Will the country become more unified? This is not a strategy that will build consensus, rather it will end health care reform. All Americans want reform; they differ on the details. No reform will be possible in this toxic political environment. President Obama has a way of deflecting the bad behavior of his subordinates. It is certainly true that he does not get up every morning and write all of his own press releases, and refresh his own website. But he is responsible and accountable for its content. It is time for the President to stop campaigning. He should eliminate his “Organizing for America” website immediately. He needs to stop embracing the rising sun seal of Obama/Biden ‘08 and instead embrace the great Presidential seal of the White House 2009. On September 11, 2008 then-Presidential candidate Barack Obama said: “Americans across our great country came together to stand with the families of the victims, to donate blood, to give to charity, and to say a prayer for our country. Let us renew that.” Let us renew that indeed. We should never degrade that day’s events to call those who oppose a policy “terrorists.” Mr. President, this September 11; remember the heroes, remember the victims, remember the families who wept that evening and pray for America’s continued resolve and wisdom, because together we are stronger. Divided we fall. |

ok...so it is about cost...not quality of care...... So, The FTC needs to change the interstate commerce laws and allow Insurance Co.s to sell their product across State lines.... More Competition means lower costs.... Problems fixed!!!! furthermore, it needs to be that people aren't forced to pay for coverage they don't need. why do men in their 20's be paying for coverage that will back them in case they ger osteoporosis? I read an article that called for people to be put in risk groups such as is done for auto insurance. Teen girls pay less for auto insurance than teen boys. likewise, people with yugo's pay less than those that drive trans ams.. what's more, auto insurance doesn't cover the cost of oil changes and new tires.. if they did your car insurance would be sky high.. why should everyone be thrust into a "one-size fits all" plan? That's what .gov regulations have forced onto the market.. its gov regulation that forces the costs to be what they are. people need to be more realistic about what the purpose of insurance is.. |
