tomato86 , NO ONE believes that the man should of been beaten to death, IF in fact he was. Yet to be proven. I for one am grateful to the OP & to others who have posted his record and links. Because the entire WORLD should know, this man, Freddie Gray WAS a known criminal, who EVADED the police by running. Which makes him a SUSPICIOUS CHARACTER *destint possibly these cops have encountered him before* And this is the TYPE of man, that thousands of people protested & rioted for. That he was NOT some INNOCENT black youth with a promising athletic career, singing in the church choir victim .... as the media & various civil rights groups & democrats have TRIED to portray in the past (& probably will again). Of ALL the people ,of all things to protest & riot over.... Mr Gray was a BAD choice & just an excuse for destruction. The knife- the police have the right to confiscate any & all weapons, no matter the size, & anything that can be used as a weapon. Just as the charges against the 6 officers are TRUMPED up, so is arresting Mr Gray or charging him for having a knife. * Maryland is an EXTREMELY LIBERAL State, anything that is a weapon, the state wants illegal* IT is COMMON place to charge EVERYONE with as MUCH as possible because of charges being dropped, dismissed & plead out. This is the case in ALL states. The protestors/ rioters & ANY political or social or civil rights group & the media... HAVE ALL PICKED THE WRONG HORSE TO BACK. The Majority of Americans KNOW this & it will accomplish nothing for THOSE with an AGENDA. ok so he had a criminal history, thats not news, we all know that. the police said he had a switchblade, which would be illegal. he did not have a switchblade he had a standard pocket knife, not illegal. cops lied about that for starters. if you run after seeing a cop, they can only order you to stop if they believe you are committing a crime. what probable cause did they have to order him to stop? because he made eye contact with them? well making eye contact with a cop is NOT a crime and therefore a cop can not legally order you to stop. just because he had a prior record in no way means that he was commiting a crime when this took place. LOOKING AT A COP AND RUNNING IS NOT A CRIME. it is stupid no doubt but legal. and wtf does having a "promising athletic career" have to do with anything? or "singing in a church choir" like seriously what are you talking about? that has nothing to do with anything. so lets see, he was arrested without any probable cause. charged for having an illegal weapon of which he did NOT have he had a perfectly legal pocket knife. witnesses said cops were seen beating him with batons and making a human pretzel out of his legs which the cops conveniently left out of the report. drove around for 45 minutes with his hands and feet shackled in a van while he wasnt buckled in and stopped multiple times and still refused to get him medical attention and still neglected each time to buckle him in. he ended up with a severed spine and ended up dying, so what does a past record have to do with any of that? nothing. he was falsely arrested, charged with bogus crimes, beaten and then refused medical care multiple times leading to his death. Meh. I was wrong. I guess tomato86 knows EXACTLY what happened...

I think I look like raspusha from the film norbit, and im going to end up as Sherman's mom from the film nutty professor, I don't have a problem with that Sherman's mom is lovely and bubbly. this mama? hahaha well ya do not   actually I was recently told I look like Karen Carpenter which was very nice. I was also told once I look like Debra Winger I really don't see this but still..nice to hear I have my mom's features and dad's coloring TMommy looks like my beautiful best friend in high school...Especially in this pic!!...
