it does occasionally get me into trouble...when asked why I did that...my standard response is because I could...this is not normally a favored response.. but they asked for a reason.. they didn't say it had to be good but now I know.. Ahh yes, some people are just stuck with the confines of their own little created world and they believe others should follow the rules they create, but what better response is there than "because I could"? And other than our children, lovers, friends, and family. Hell sometimes not even them. It's better to make ourselves happy, and if in that process it makes someone else happy then so be it. |

I would bring the biggest books I could find to use for firewood. Five people who love partying. A lot of beer and food that can sustain us for a while and have fun.
I don't need movies. I'm on an island! Get away from the digital crap and live life! I love reading, but there would be better times for it. Like when I'm not stuck on an island with friends and alcohol. |

Yes I know! My freshman year of college I made a list of private islands that I want to have one day! lol Yea not sure if that will ever happen, but I'd love my own island. I like tranquility and ocean. :) We'll see, maybe it will happen. Bah! Never say maybe on things like that. Just make it happen. I will have an island and I will be rich. It's not an option, I will make it happen. That's just me though. Set goals and accomplish them or die trying. |

No I meant reservations about the person you intend on meeting, not asking them..i.e. if you feel they want more than you do at the time if their behavior has in some way raised red flags...but not so severe that you would stop talking to them altogether. I have met a few who say hey, lets meet in the next thirty minutes and see where things go... with no prior convo.. and thats just unnerving now if we have been chatting and the conversation is going well i see no reason not to meet in person provided its an option Ahh, no it's nothing like that. I'm just bored and curious so I tried this out. I don't ask people off the bat with no convo to come meet me lol. That really is kind of weird. |

Just don't give up if they say o initially, and don't be offended if they bring a friend for a buffer....or protection, I watch CSI too much 
Thanks for that, had a hard time trying to stop laughing after reading it. I think a group of friends meeting would be better anyways. It's easier to have a group conversation in my opinion than just two people that don't know each other that well. Unfortunately all of my friends deployed so if it does work out then I won't be bringing anybody with me. |

You already did it? You met them? How did it work out? No.. Not yet. Still waiting. Also, I didn't just start talking to them today, but it really hasn't been that long so I dunno. I'll probably wait a couple of days maybe. Just so this thread will be long forgotten and they won't remember that it was probably meant to see their response.

You didn't say they had to be small things. =\ On subject though, you can actually buy an island very cheap. I've researched this a lot. Making it livable up to whatever standards you have is where the expensive part comes in. Also, need to have some type of security because you will literally be somewhere that nobody can hear you scream. Don't want random people boating up and robbing you. |

I've met some one three days after initially chatting.. but I think it would depend on how far away they are, and on the vibe...if it feels good there are no worries if you have your reservations.. they are probably there for a reason If by reservations you mean the reason why I am waiting to see what they say here. I simply did it because I am sometimes a very forward person when it comes to meeting people. I usually don't waste time. Sometimes people don't like that, so its easier to discreetly see what they think about the subject.

I say screw the painting. Lets me and you go find some real lions. Get you a dress like that and take some pictures. Nothing beats the real thing. Are you a photographer? I am not. Working on getting a very nice camera as I would like to start it as a hobby. So right now all I got is my digital. It's all good though! I just bought a digital camera and a tripod so I can start photographing my paintings and I am going to take pictures to sell on the Internet to designers. It was only $219.00 at Walmart and has 10X optical zoom plus 5X digital zoom and all the features I wanted. I needed it so I can photograph my art for my website when I start selling my art on line. That's the plan anyway.
If you are looking for any web design or hosting I can hook you up for free. I need a new project to work on. Practice makes perfect. I'm only running three websites on my server right now and it can hold a lot more than that. Let me know. =p |

I don't meet anyone anymore. I do not date locally, and long distance just isn't my thing. So I'm good at not meeting anyone, unless they just happen to visit the area. 
Haha, that's a good thing to know I suppose. Is it bad I'm waiting on a response from a specific person? This thread was just to see if I should go for it or not. |

As a bachelor I have been eating plain rice and maybe some tilapia with a little tony chachere's and sometimes tuna instead of tilapia for months.
However last night I made really spicy red beans with some cut up baked chicken on top of rice and few other seasonings and I have to say that it was the most satisfying meal I have had in a long time. I miss home cooked meals. 
Tonight I'm gonna cook something like gumbo. Mmmm.. |

Haha this thread went totally off subject with the one small picture of Cameron's beautiful butt.
Fine, I can't help the way I think and if I think too long it will never be acted on so sometimes, just going for it....gets me more results than whatever is going on in my head.. right or wrong at least you can say now you "know" Welcome to the club of "act before you think". That's how you have fun in life. Some people might say it causes pain a lot, but what is joy without pain. Pleasure without agony? Ah the bitterness makes the sweet that much sweeter. |

How long with just minor chatting back and forth on here would it take for you to meet the other person face to face if they asked you?
I'm not really talking about a date, but just meeting. Maybe for coffee just to see if you two click or not. My answer: I wouldn't mind meeting people the same day. I'm not the online chatty type of person. I like going somewhere public and just hanging out and having a conversation about whatever. What are your answers? |

okay I love driving...I really do.. and I'll drive on road trips, because road trips are fun...but you alternate I also love being a passenger...taking photos of what we are passing and doing other things that may result in my guy needing to pull over I like your style..
