Always the man in my opinion.

On a side note, I'm not sure why I think like this, but I do know it is deeply ingrained into me. There are very few rare situations where the woman should be driving. One of those being, if it's a new relationship and you are in her car.

I'll drive, because then at least I'll know it's done right.

Well... if my last relationship was any indication, I did ALL the driving. It's not that I mind that, though- if you care for the other person enough, the distance you drive shouldn't matter, right? Right?

for the love of god you drive the bike...I'll hold on....

You see, I usually drive.. but then again.. it was either, my car or dumba$$ got another DUI and couldn't legally drive....

however every other relationship I have seen, the man drives, again, unless he can't legally do so....

why is that?

of course, I really don't think women should drive either...they can be terrible

It's the simple fact that the man should be in the dominate roll of the relationship. I'm sure this all goes back to before cars were even invented. That's why I say that it's ingrained into me. Back in the day, women didn't drive horse and carriage. Mean did. Even if it was just a driver the driver most most always man from what I have seen and read in wonderful fictitious books.

see I think he should be dominant in bed 50% of the time
the kitchen belongs to me, don't touch it unless you're grilling something...don't touch my car unless I tell you too
You can drive as long as your not drunk
please don't mess with the laundry you'll screw something up...same reason why I stay away from your power tools, I have my own if I need to get something done and your not around
yes you will be required to mow the lawn...

The last relationship the man didn't have a license due to felony DUIs. He could get his license back in 2030. He damn sure wasn't driving my car.

Well....I have known some really good...and some really bad women drivers.....Men too.....for that matter....but it depends.....I have driven for a living most of my life so when I got home from the road I just didn't want to drive.
I am always happy to drive.....I hardly ever drink much so it is not a problem. but if she just has a wild hair to drive.....hey...I'm cool with that!!!!

I think the man should, but that's not always the case.

More concerning I feel... is who ends up 'driving' the relationship???
