boarderamc, why do you even care, and what are you doing in my spiritual tarot card thread? Do you really want a reading that bad? Okay. CARDS DRAWN: The Hierophant, The Hanged Man and the Devil  ---- ----
The Hierophant: This is represents organized groups, structures, religion, family, and corporate America. Its about tradition, ritual, and an established way of doing things. Basically is show us where you are coming from. There is a clash of belief systems in your reality that bugs you. You have been indoctrinated towards the idea that "the occult" is something evil. The Hanged Man: This card reveals that you have reached a stage in your journey where you have begun to question the deeper meaning and purpose of your life. The old beliefs and ideas have lost their meaning and no longer satisfy you, but you are confused about your new direction and you are dealing with your own inner conflict. There is a battle going on inside of your mind. The hanged man tells you that you need to step back and do a one eighty in how you perceive something. Adjust your point of view, reverse your established order of doing things. You are stuck in a rut because of rigid ideas and fixed concepts. If no one seems to agree with you it may be because other have moved on and you have not. Release ideas and associations that are obsolete. Change what you believe and your life will change accordingly. Dare to begin your journey even if it involves some risk or sacrifice. Turn your life around by letting go of sacrificing negative beliefs. The Devil: This card personifies temptation, burdens, restrictions, choices and misdirection. It reflects belief in the surface rather than in the inner truth of a situation. Limits, boundaries, and being a slave to desires overpower innate good judgment. The devil represents your own fears, he is the path of least resistance. You believe that you can't do anything, that you're powerless to exert control over your life. In order to escape his bondage, you must alter your thoughts and actions. It's time you realized that the chains that hold you can be removed at will. Take charge of your own life and choose to choose. The Devil can be exorcised by changing the patterns of behavior or thinking that kepp you in a master/slave situation.. Your transformation begins the moment you affirm your intentions to cast out negative energies and replace them with positive thoughts and actions. Refuse to relinquish control of your own life. Freedom is paramount. these cards can apply to literally anyone... for example the devil card you just showed... The devil represents your own fears, he is the path of least resistance. You believe that you can't do anything, that you're powerless to exert control over your life. In order to escape his bondage, you must alter your thoughts and actions. It's time you realized that the chains that hold you can be removed at will." who in the world can this NOT apply to... probably about 3-4% of the population? I'm still just perplexed as to why you guys don't think that this is dealing with the occult, and why people want to get direction in their lives from a vibrantly colored fortune cookie... |

Nah, I don't deal with the occult. But by going off of what you said, you've proven my own point for me. SAY WHAT!! tarot  has NOTHING!!! to do with the occult
trying to get answers about life, love and etc. through a deck of cards is dealing with the occult.... same damn thing as a Ouija board... or a psychic.... EXCUSE ME!! if you havent read my profile... i am a psychic reader..(""j'' ass) oh ok... my bad... no I haven't read your profile, and I could care less if what I said offends you... deal with the occult all you want, its not my life.  it HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OCCULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no no this is what you do. get a blender, throw in 2 egg whites, an orange, a cup of strong black coffee, some peptobismol, and half a shot of whatever you were drinking or drink a **** ton of water before you go to bed because you the reason your head hurts in the morning if from the alcohol dehydrating you and a breakfast full of carbs in the morning alcohol gives you a hangover and hurts your head because it cuts bloodflow to your brain... which is why people get very pale faces when they drink heavily. the best thing you can do is drink a lot of water in the morning and exercise... although most people wont do this because they are so hung over. |

Hey everyone, I was just wondering what some other people were thinking about Christians getting tattoos. I have been a Christian my entire life, and I have two tattoos (until I get more money lol). One being a memorial for my father, and the other being hands praying with the words "By His Wounds We Are Healed."
In Leviticus 19:28 it warns against tattooing, but did you also know that this entire chapter was about warning the Israelites (with whom God had a covenant with) to not be like surrounding religions? If you study this passage further, what it is really talking about is to not tattoo like false religious practices. What are your thoughts? Oh, and lets keep the argument to tattoos that are morally acceptable... of course we are all going to agree that getting a "Satan Rocks" with a pentagram tattoo is probably not a good idea... |

this is one thing that really angers me... and it is no offense to any of you... but mormonism is NOT Christianity... yes, they talk about Jesus but so do Muslims. Every time I see a commercial for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, my blood begins to boil because it is extreme false advertising.

Yes, God does answer all prayers, even though the outcome may not be exactly how you wanted it to be. I think that most of the time we can tell if our prayers are selfish, such as if you are praying for a new video game vs. a friend that has cancer... i know there have been many times in my life where there was a clear and concise answer straight from God; for example, i've had mono since tuesday and have been suffering debilitating pain. me and my family have been praying for the sickness to subside, and just this morning I went to a particular doctor (I originally was going to go to urgent care, but for some reason my mom thought of this doctor we haven't been to in over 5 years). the doctor prescribed me some steroids, and about an hour after I take the first pill I am feeling almost back to normal.
Many people will say, "oh that is just a coincidence" but I'm not one to believe that there is such a thing as a coincidence. God has a hand in all of our lives, and the power of prayer is very real. |
