Thanks but it kinda sound to me that she didn't get the whole download distro or not the live cd version...file size is suppose to be 695MB. But if she all ready got it cool...she should be up and running soon Upon re-read give her the same link....Duh |

I looked at others and it seems to be the right one. Maybe I just got lucky with a fast down load and burn. I hope. Cross your fingers and toes for me. Whisper here is a link: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download you need to select type of pc and location to download from, then burn-it as iso and this should give you a live cd. |

So here goes:
1.) What do caviar and Micheal Jackson have in common? 2.) What's the Mafia and eating p*ssy have in common? 3.) Have you heard about the new douche' called SSY? 4.) What do you call a hooker with a runny nose? 5.) Who makes more money a dope dealer or a hooker? A1.) They both come on little white crackers. A2.) One slip of the tongue and you're in Deep Sh*t! A3.) It takes the PU" out of "*****" A4.) FULL A5.) A Hooker cause she can rinse and resell her crack |

How Do I Get Linux?

Thank you all for your help. You guys are so great, I know I have been a pain in the ass with all my questions lately. I really am not completely computer stupid as I am making my self look. Heck I am planning on going to school for it in the fall. But there are still things I am trying to learn. So I thank you for answering my questions and not getting sick of me. I know I can be annoying at times. I am downloading Ubuntu now. Whisper make sure when you burn it you do it as an ISO image or it won't boot. A straight copy to cd doesn't add the boot sector. Also you can run Ubuntu of the cd without installing it and see how it works and the look and feel. |
