I'm feeling a little dense today. But, I don't get it. Why if you are a member of a social/dating site wouldn't you post a picture in your profile? Can't be for safety...there are so many ways to cover who you are. Then there is hardly ever anything in a profile that says anything but "my kids are my life" duh!!! everyones are.
Why not have a picutre(recent) and stuff that is interesting posted about you....Aren't most of use trying to meet someone for a relationship?    Or are we here to pratice our typing skills?

Hmm - I guess OP won't be back but my question is, how do you respond to a profile? I didn't realize that profiles required responses. {{{hiker}}} Don't requier responces but they can be a pleasant starting place if they have more then 2 lines and a pic. 
How'ya doing hiker? good, lonely. I just think it is a lot to post a profile and then sit back and wait for "responses". OP needs to be a tad more proactive. Why, I would still be alone if I hadn't...oh, wait, I am still alone

Yes please put alittle more effort in to writing your profile and a picutre would be good. Also start posting people might get to know you and respond.
Also 1 line = 1 hit/view in profile 5 lines = 5 hits......after 10 lines it's all gravy/grovey

I delete them every time I sign in... that way you can tell when someone's stalking you
