Well, first of all, whatever the truth would be, rest assured it doesn't have to be the same as the published story. Meaning, that logically, if FED says it is private, it doesn't have to be the truth, although it may.

Let's us talk about FED. I know what G.E. Griffin is saying. I respect that man very much. But, he isn't checking his view against the math.

And the math of FED incomes and outcomes doesn't allow it to be a private institution. So, the picture drawn by Griffin doesn't fit.

Why is this happening? Because the impression that FED is a private bank, was created on purpose, by it's founders, while officially they were saying that FED is a government institution.

Why? To throw off two kinds of people who try to think of FED nature.

1 - regular citizens who don't ask not allowed questions. Their question id what is fed and what it is for. Fanta can answer their questions. That is the typical, dictionary stuff about FED.

2 - those of us who see that this can't be, the monetary policy doesn't make any sense. We ask what is FED, and we receive the "hidden" answer, that the fed is private. "Oh" we say, and that supposedly explains everything. What exactly that explains to us? That there are the dark forces that are running the FED? Does this answer tell us how to break the FED? Does it reveal the weakness of FED? Nope. Therefore it is a fake answer, designed to keep us concerned with a conspiracy theory that is not true.

If you want to keep up with conspiracy theories, keep in mind that most of them were created by the perpetrators themselves, to make us look funny. It is literally a red herring (a fish).

This?

Um most of the companies haven't moved they've move their work force over seas but not the companies themselves. If you wish to know why then try learning something about our tax law. 55% is nothing when you only pay it on 10% of your income. We have more tax loopholes and write offs than any other country.

I did, just did not find it explaining anything. Btw, what are you referring to?

I was responding to this part that you chose not to quote.

I did not quote because I have already quoted that, and we we're clear what is it we are talking about.

Clinton was taxing companies 55%.That's when companies started taking their companies overseas. You want companies to stay here loosen the tax and environmental red tape.

I'm really not sure how to be any more clear. He said companies started moving out of the country. That is not correct, some have yes, but doubt for many it was about the tax situation. In fact to my knowledge most of what's moved over seas has been the companies that we've allowed to be sold to foreign entities. Most other developed countries are not so stupid as to allow that. And as for the 55% tax rate you won't find a single corporation small or large that pays 55% on all their income. Write offs, loop holes, tax credits and so many other methods for reducing taxable income that corporations actually pay very little tax in proportion to their actual income. As a small business owner I have some ability to do that as well, I take ever legal break I can get and it's quite substantial even for a small time guy like me. The average Joe doesn't get those kinds of breaks. That 39% tax on the rich and 55% tax on corporations is there to make you think you're getting a break. When I was working as a tax accountants aid most of his clients were multi-million dollar corps and individuals earning over half a mill per year. None, repeat None of them paid tax on more than 60% of their income and some paid less. Even if you own your own home and have significant medical bills (The only two breaks you are likely to get) you're probably still paying on at least 95% of your income. Grab a calculator skippy, percentage wise you pay more than they do.

Now I see.
So, you think because the corporations weren't paying taxes on all of their income, there was no reason for them to move away.

Why should corporations pay any taxes? After all, once issued as income to owners, the profits are taxed anyway.

However, let us say that there is no corporate taxation, only the income tax. Is that great or what? I don't think so. What matters to me as a business owner is how much will I make in profits that I can keep to myself. The bottom line.

And if after all the socialism, the bottom line is that after investing a dollar I keep only 50 bucks in profits (that is after all taxes), this still may not be enough to keep me interested. I want what I want, and I will get it one way or another, because those are all my money.

That profit is not a teft or a robbery proceeds, such as taxes are. It is all mine, why should I share it with anyone?

You also mention that the reality is that rich pay less as a percentage than the poor. So, it is the percentage that matters?

Let me give you a very simplistic example of what matters:

Say you make 50000 a year and I make 25000. We both come to a TV store and set our eyes on large screen LCD TVs. Some nice a$$ Sony 65 incher, how about that.

Now, there are two price tags, one for you and one for me. Your's say $20000. And mine says $10000.

How about that? We both pay equal percentage for this TV. Cool huh?

Actually, it is a step towards establishing a Yuan (Reminbi) as a new reserve currency.

China gives them bunch of notes and says: "Hey! Try these! See how they work for trade!".

I say it is a good news.

The one place I think we really do agree is that we will never be third worldly. If the US goes down we take the world with us.

I disagree.

What makes country to roll down to a third world status?

Their citizenship? Their race? Their flag or their beliefs? Their self love?

No. You have to separate between poor country and a third word country. A third word country is a country that nobody is asking for a permission to invade, a country on "who cares" list. Typically, it is a country that does not have nuclear weapons (including delivery systems).

This is why we are so much against anyone developing those, because once they do, we would have to ask permissions to invade.

Now, to become a third word country, all one needs to do is to become poor and lose his nuclear weapons.

We can become poor. May-be it is tough to lose the nukes though. However, once we become poor, we can no longer continue to develop new weapons. And there will be a day when others develop newer, stronger weapons, so much stronger that the possession of simple nuke and it's delivery system, wouldn't even count.

Then it could be sad that we are a third world country.

by Fanta:

The economy is bottoming out and showing signs of recovery. I realize this is hard for some to see in our nation of citizens who seek instant gratuitous but be patient. It will take time.

Should we go and buy some houses? Commercial real estate? Buy stocks?

Take time? How long? Take time sitting on the bottom or recovering up from it?

So, we are at the bottom. Or not yet? You said "bottoming", as in the process. Can the stock market still go down 50%? Or no more than 5%?

Besides, What happens in America's economy is felt many times over in the rest of the world.

That makes you a little happier?

let's say (for the sake of arguement) that I was elected president in 2012....could I blame it on BHO and get away with it??? probably not.

Remember, it is never Obama's fault.

Don't worry, it will fail quickly. The important thing about Amero, or whatever they are going to call it when it will be announced, is what you do in it's first days.

The strategic goal of Amero, would be to establish a "no escape" monetary situation in North America, where not only a US persons, but also Canadian and Mexicans are all make their pockets available to the wealth extraction by inflation.

The tactical goal would be to default on a dollar, because when they roll out Amero, they will exchange 1 new Amero to , uh, I don't know, may-be 10000 dollars. The point? The point is that after a short while Amero will become just as worthless as dollar, so, if 10000 was the number then your wealth was reduced 10000 times, while your debts were reduced 10000 as well.

So, it is the same as if Obama ordered everyone with savings to pay the debts of those in the hole, without any kind of compensation in the future. This is the true meaning of the tactical goal of Amero.

ok...what if someone else was elected??? would they be able to use the same excuse???huh

We could have no FED by now, and no IRS, and sound money backed by gold. We could be a center of world strive to safely park their capital now.

We could....

But we won't. Cause our morals aren't good enough to elect Ron Paul. All we can do is elect someone like a communist Obama.

We are the alcoholic who dreams what would he become if he stop drinking.

We have no chance of freedom until we get large private corporations out of power!

The Federal Reserve and World Banks, the Tri-Lateral Commission, The UN, at the top and right down the line!

The President is a fall guy! A Puppet! They are only symbols of power, movie stars, paid for by the corporations, sold to us by the media, all under corporate control, expendable!

Corporations back the political campaignes of our... their.... chosen candidates. Hundreds of millions of dollars are given by the corporations. The media is owned by them. What choice does a "third party" candidate have against this onslaught? About as much chance as the common person has of winning a lawsuit against them! They get their puppets elected, these puppets then appoint "their" cabinet members, then write, make, or change any laws that might threaten their agenda. They use their powers to create distractions, global warming, war, swine flu, terror, like a shell game, while behind the scenes, they steal our abilities to do anything about it. He with the most money wins, and they are stealing it from "we the people", through taxation and hardship, our freedoms, our rights and abilities, to stand against them!

We the people think on the level of a grade school basketball team, while they send in their olympic best against us! They create laws we will never understand (most don't bother to read), and give us distractions to occupy our thoughts, take away our will and ability to do anything but struggle to survive.

Just like in here, this forum. We ridicule each other, fight amongst ourselves, invalidate each others views or opinions, take sides, and we think this is progress? There are few debates, little willingness, much confussion, and no unity! This is the reason we are in the shape we are in! They have us fighting so much amonst ourselves, they stand unchecked to promote their agenda because WE CAN'T AGREE AS A PEOPLE that there is a problem, and come together, work together, to do anything about it! This is their REAL power!

We are "The United States Of America"! Until we give each persons opinion the right of being heard, considered, see past the smoke screens and bullies (the media) that sell us our opinions like a new car, start questioning and holding accountable our leaders instead of blindly following where we are led, we are simply on a bus to wherever they are taking us!

God have mercy on us all, for the actions and choices we make TODAY are what our children will inherit as a legacy. I for one, want my children to be proud of me, so while many choose to "sleep" thru this mess, I will fight them!

Sleep well!

Those are not private, and there lies your error.

It will cause the stop of the trade for a little while. Socialist countries, such as ours, will go to war, as they need someone to parasit on. Capitalist countries won't, unless they will be attacked.

As soon as a new medium of exchange is found, the trade would resume.

There is never any need for neither world government, nor single world money, these are the desires of the socialists. They need these desperately, because the scam has almost stopped working, and they need something to extend their undeserved quality of life.

Whenever you hear that, remember, that the root usefulness of anything "single" or "wolrdwide", is that there is no other choice, no escape. Be it world currency, or world government, the purpose is to force everyone into something they rather not participate. So, this is the dark force.

We just had world collapse. We should thank china for first, continuing the trade while they already know that the dollars they getting are worthless. And secondly, for doing what they do to promptly create a new medium of exchange, so that the trade can continue, that being their efforts to elevate reminbi to the status of world reserve currency.

The truth is dark, but not as dark as some suggest, and we are the bad guys.

Yes. You're there.

How about all the crap they all buy? Can they structure their spending according to importance ladder, where rainy day savings would be pretty close to paying rent on a sunny day?

No way we should assume anyone's mortgage, however, many people live in apartments and live paycheck to paycheck so once they lose their jobs they quickly become homeless.

True. You'd think they would save some money instead of wasting it all on Starbucks and Netflix?

I did and the reorganization is still not under Obama's control. He ordered the reorganization but is not over seeing it.

Quite calculating and very much expected.

Hitler never gassed anyone. Are you aware that he only ordered the solution. The officers at the camps, as well as the political officers in the party, worked out the details.

Haven't heard of that particular instance but there is no doubt, it is bad. There are people living in the brush that surround freeway on ramps and the like. It's most definitely bad

Ontario, California, by the airport. I've seen them.

There is youtube video. Search for "tent" "ontario" "city" "homeless". They are explaining what happened... None sound true.

They are living there, because they were trying to game the system. But, turned out, they were the amateurs.

Should we give them back the mansions and assume their mortgages?
