I'm sure you've probably already said it, Kimmi...but what part of Texas are you moving to? About an hour northwest of Denton. Little town called St Jo off 82 between Gainesville & Wichita Falls. |

Kimmi, when are you moving? I am having a B-day party on Halloween. Would love for you to come!!!! St Jo (North Central) About an hour north of Denton. I'd love to come, but not sure how things are going to work out. My last day of work is supposed to be the 30th. Provided I'm not wiped out... we'll see.

Love the small towns myself
I think it is partly what you make of it. I've lived in big cities and tiny towns. They all have their perks and downsides. Personally, I'm looking forward to moving back to a small town and having a larger area (DFW) close enough by to enjoy the amenities. Now I just need to find a job and get help figuring out where places are. |

Altus, OK. About 30 miles north of Vernon. St Jo. A dinky little town between Gainesville & Wichita Falls on 82 (north central). Population 600 or so... more pot holes than street.

TxsSun - I'm moving to a little dinky town between Gainesville & Wichita Falls (North Central) off 82.
I've been trying to make it to a TX party for a while since right now I'm only a few hours from Dallas, but never manage to make it. I plan on making an appearance once I get settled and y'all have another one. Just keep me informed! I'm excite to get to meet some of y'all!! |

Your work in gray scale is breathtaking. Thank you!! Well, they were taken (digital) in color. But through the wonderful world of computer it's easy to make them sepia tones or gray scale. The ones I turned gray just seemed to be begging for it! |

My local fire department brought their vintage fire truck down to the county courthouse (on the town square) and displayed a huge flag over the street with the ladder in honor of 9/11.

The pick up I have no is the only vehicle I've ever had that wasn't a manual.
Dad taught me how to drive in a really old cemetery that had 4 ways and hills. He'd make me pull part way up a small hill and kill it. Ugh, it sucked! But I learned! Plus, Dad said it was the safest place for me to learn to drive... everyone was already dead! 
It will get easier with practice!

If you get to the point where you feel you need to justify your relationship or ask if there's too much of an age difference, then I think it matters. If you are questioning it, then you obviously have an issue, whether you want to admit it or not.
